Summary/Abstract: : The article discusses the problems of management teams in small family companies. As family business grows, the family management team replaces the sole leadership of the owner. Professional management teams are relatively new phenomenon in management, however in family businesses they have specific character. They are predominantly constituted by family members and exposed to the influence of family relations interwoven in managing the organization.
