Summary/Abstract: The ethical decision is the process of exploring all aspects of choosing between several possible actions, depending on the organization's moral values, and then to weigh those options and recommend a course of action. Evaluative processes that use ethical decision methods aim at the systematic research made by specialists and at the well-reasoned decision of the moral acceptability of a certain conduct, policy, decision, etc., from among many possible. Judging new cases by appealing to universal principles faces the objections of ethical pluralism based on the diversity of values and virtues. It is noted the absence, so far, of a satisfactory answer to this challenge. This paper briefly examines different (and often contradictory) approaches to the modern ethics, relative to moral values of and virtues, as the foundation for ethical decision-making processes that can be used by organizations and businesses.
