Summary/Abstract: Aesthetic Medicine comprises all medical procedures that have as objective improving thephysical appearance with a major impact on the human psyche. This paper highlight the risksassociated with medical procedures specifically on psycho-affective implications and theimportance of interdisciplinary collaboration that can improve the quality of care in this newmedical field.
