Summary/Abstract: Ioan Mancaş was a singular figure of the most known scholar of Vaslui County in recent decades. He wrote History and made portraits of the great academics of Vaslui County, heading with his creative curiosity for everything that is historical science. During over 35 years of work in museology he initiated, conducted and led scientific research, he realized and then completed collections in more than 200,000 samples that entered in the cultural heritage of our country. Always pilgrim through Vaslui souls, this “Lord of Romanian curators” brought and brings us yet the light and warmth of his heart, enfolding us every time with his comfort words and tenderness of his spirit.
