Summary/Abstract: Ioan Mancaş’ mission in life was to fight for authen tic cultural acts in Vaslui County, but also for the continuity of Romanian cultural traditions. The personality of Ioan Mancaş fully stated in the humanities so that we can talk about Ioan Mancaş as man of culture, professor and researcher. Being an active presence in public life and becoming manager of Vaslui culture, he animated not only the entire cultural and artistic activity in the county, but managed to shape the idea of a county that has unknown resources in the field of Romanian culture and civilization.
