- Summary/Abstract:There has been increasing talk of the "new" industrial revolution that will pave the way for the next generation of industrial technologies and industrial relations in recent years, especially in the context of a pandemic. Industrial development is part of the development of society - it cannot be stopped, it cannot be controlled, but only to be observed and followed. This gives rise to the question that is sought to be answered in this report: what are the historical prerequisites for the "new industry": Industry 5.0? Without the author pretending to be comprehensive in the historical development of the economy / industry before the last few centuries, the report reviews the main theoretical achievements that determine the development of the economy and industry (in the first and second paragraphs), as well as the features of Industry 5.0 as part of the inherent development of social relations and their contribution to the economy and economic development (in the third paragraph). In conclusion, conclusions regarding the development of the industry will be presented.

- Summary/Abstract:The 21st century is the century in which we must make the right, different decisions for the companies we manage, and not the previously accepted decisions, because they will be wrong. The challenges of management in the 21st century are as many challenges as there are opportunities. When management analyses the behaviour of its people in the organization it manages, it is then that it reaches conclusions different from its thoughts in expectations. They come to different conclusions: changing work habits is a slow process that requires changes in our attitude towards colleagues and work process. We humans tend to work for one recognition before other colleagues. Of course, the salary we receive also affects our corporate affiliation and culture of behaviour and creates habits of care for the work process and our workplace. The motivation that comes from the recognition that we are part (indispensable) of the team fuels us for ultimate self-giving and nothing else. It cannot generate such motivation in us. I would add that everything else is unnecessary political talk in economic reality. Both cost reduction and increased productivity are part of the motivational processes in the organization, which is an indispensable tool in the hands of management, regardless of the hierarchical level in the organization. All people in it we need appreciation.

- Summary/Abstract:The economic and social development of society depends to a certain extent on the development and condition of the "Transport" sector. Many economic, social and demographic processes are influenced by it, in this regard analysing its condition is not a small necessity. The report presents an analysis of national indicators and trends in the development of the transport sector in the country for the period 2016-2020, emphasizing the impact of the crisis caused by COVID-19 on various types of transport. Based on the statistical information available in the separate sections of the report, a comparison was made of the pre-pandemic data and what is the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the national indicators. The various factors showing the state and supporting the development of the transport sector have been successively analysed. In the conclusion, a comparison is made between the impact of the World Economic Crisis (2008) and the COVID-19 pandemic crises (2020) on the national indicators for different types of transport. The aim of the report is to provide a baseline analysis of the state and development of the transport sector and the impact of the COVID crisis on it, on the basis of which further research can be triggered. The conclusions are drawn as a result of an analysis of publicly available statistical data for the Transport sector, the author's calculations and do not claim to be exhaustive.

- Summary/Abstract:Тhe paper discusses the risks remote work during pandemic create for data loss in organizations. These risks are significant for research organizations in particular (universities, companies with research and development (R&D) departments, research institutes and laboratories, etc.). On the one hand the environment of openness and collaboration between people, working remotely for these organizations, is an important part for keeping the workflow as normal as possible during pandemic, however typical access of many portable devices to the organizations’ data significantly increases the risks of unauthorized use. In this paper we argue that data loss prevention policies are of high importance for such type of organizations, since they work with a variety of types of data, which are subject to different regulations and besides the necessity some of the data to be kept confidential there is also a counter need some of the data to be made available to the public (as results of research for example). Also such policies need to be adapted to the specifics of remote work and the shared use of resources and company data. The paper discusses how research organizations can define their critical data, the risks of data loss and strategies to keep their data safe. We discuss 2 main critical data loss prevention objectives, namely intellectual property (IP) protection and business partner compliance. The paper also presents a showcase of how Bulgarian universities address the issues described above.
