Summary/Abstract: This work is conceived as a kaleidoscope of various approaches to the bilingual, Romanian and French, creation of Dumitru Tsepeneag. An overview of the Romanian oneirism examined in relation to other European literary movements allows us to deal with Dumitru Tsepeneag's literary positioning, on the Romanian side, as well as on the French side, in between two languages and two literatures. His bilingual work is analyzed from the creative and writing point of view but also from the translation perspective, namely the relationship established between the author and his translator, and last but not least, from the angle of self-translation leading to experimental works.
