Summary/Abstract: This study addresses the didactic aspects of applying the methodology for developing entrepreneurial competence within the biology curriculum. In today's world, it is necessary to create an environment where entrepreneurship can thrive and where entrepreneurs seek to implement the most effective ideas for global community service. Purpose of the research: To determine the theoretical basis, develop, and test methodologies for developing entrepreneurial competence in the study of biology at the pre-university level. Research objectives: To establish the theoretical foundation of the concepts of competence, school competence, and entrepreneurial competence; To design methodological guidelines for developing entrepreneurial competence. Research hypothesis: Developing entrepreneurial competence, including in the study of biology at the high school level, contributes to an appropriate professional inspiration for high school graduates. The research demonstrated that developing entrepreneurial competence during biology classes, by focusing the teacher on choosing a self-regulated trajectory, contributes to the efficiency of students' pre-university initial preparation.
