Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this article is to assess the existing solutions used within the JESSICA initiative from the perspective of the model (theoretical) approach to regeneration. The authors intend to examine whether the JESSICA initiative is an effective instrument for improving the situation in deprived urban areas and reducing urban inequalities.
