Summary/Abstract: This paper addresses a priority issue for modern life, which corresponds tothe Bioeconomy. This fi eld of knowledge, but in other continents has been discussedbroadly in Latin America is emerging discussion. What aspects may refl ect this situation?The answer, perhaps, we can still be found in economics, is assumed with an Orthodoxperspective, considering a fi eld of knowledge that supplants another. This orthodoxyobfuscates the sight of integration with other sciences, in this case biology.Integrative synthesis of these fi elds of knowledge, resulting in the Bioeconomy, whichcan be considered as a new paradigm that responds to the challenges today requires sustainabledevelopment. In this sense, this course seeks to expand horizons of knowledgein the fi eld of orthodox economics, and social science.
