Sociology is a science in which the person puts his imagination and heuristic potential. Sociology is a craft, in the practice of which the outcome depends on the mastery of the techniques and methodologies, the correct observance of rules and procedures. Sociology is a business that requires certain resources and also can reproduce or increase them. Sociology, however, is something else; it is not only a knowledge of society, but it is a public activity. It loses its meaning beyond the public realization or changes it if this realization does not correspond to the scientific credibility.

THE ARTICLE DISCUSSES THE POSSIBILITY OF EXPANDING THE NOTION OF THE SUBJECT. IT STARTS FROM REOPENING THE STATUS OF THE UNCONSCIOUS IN FREUD' WORK, BASED ON HIS UNWILLINGNESS TO ANALYZE THE FIRST DREAM FROM THE LAST CHAPTER OF HIS BOOK ‘THE INTERPRETATION OF DREAMS’. LACAN'S INTERPRETATION OF THIS DREAM CONTAINS, AMONG OTHERS, THE IDEA OF A LOOSE CORRESPONDENCE OF THE SUBJECT OF THE DREAM AND THE SUBJECT OF BEING AWAKE. HERE, WE PROPOSE THE EXPANDING OF THE NOTION OF THE SUBJECT TO THE MORE RADICAL ENTITIES, LIKE THE "SUBJECTDREAM" AND THE "SUBJECT-HALLUCINATION". IT NOT ONLY SOLVES THE ENIGMA WITH THE DISPUTABLE DREAM IN FREUD, BUT IT ALSO SHAPES THE MORE CLEAR ONTIC SUBSTANCE OF THE UNCONSCIOUS. THIS RADICALISATION CAN LEAD US TO SEVERAL IMPORTANT REVISIONS OF THE THEORIES ON THE PRE-OEDIPAL SUBJECT. A SUMMARY THAT WE SUGGEST IN RELATION TO THE BEGINNING OF THE SUBJECTIVITY WOULD FIRST AND FOREMOST BE THAT WE ARE DEALING WITH SCALABILITY, AND NOT WITH A SPECTACULAR IMAGE (THE LACANIAN "MIRROR STAGE"). AFTER THE DISCOVERY OF THE NEW CLASS OF NEURONS, THE "MIRRORNEURONS" IN 1996, WHICH PROVED THERE IS A STRONG, PRIMITIVE AND UNMEDIATED DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE SUBJECT AND THE OTHER, THESE THEORETICAL REVISIONS COULD BECOME CENTRAL TO FURTHER RETHINKING OF THE NOTIONS OF THE SUBJECT.

As everywhere in Europe, in Romania, modernity has produced a paradigm shift. This position expressed a certain way of thinking about philosophy in a modernizing society. Patočka a Rorty (pár poznámok k otázke slobody)

In Patočka’s and Rorty’s philosophy, despite of the diametrically different concepts and the conditions in which they were created, they offer a common moment for the reconstruction of liberalism and the theoretical possibility of fulfilling the freedom of the personal entity. Patočka tries to point out the importance of transcendence for human life. He tries to save metaphysics, which not has to be necessarily dogmatic. He urges people to combine their spirituality with skepticism and modesty, and on the basis of the Socratic knowing of unknowing and with humility, they become the people who are opening for transcendence. Rorty in his reflections about man points to moral responsibility and tries to lead him to knowing itself and the to the ambition to take responsibility for his own action, because only man has unique possibilities and the ability to form his own authentic way of life. Rorty’s concept of freedom understood as a contingent phenomenon is based on the concept of the history of Western philosophy and is closely linked to the problem of metaphysics and truth as well as by Patočka. Based on reflections of human freedom (which are different in some moments, but in many of them, they are significantly complementary and they are blend together, both philosophers will try to point out some kind of timeless ideal of human freedom in relation to the context in which, and which we are thinking about.
