The „Csíki Játékszín” Theatre of Miercurea Ciuc has staged an adaptation of the classic novel, A Journey Round My Skull, a memoir of illness by Frigyes Karinthy. The review written by Kincső Szakács examines the extent to which the production succeeded in accomplishing the directorial conception, which sought to focus, beyond the protagonist’s illness, on the beginnings of the self-abolition of European civilisation in the 20th century.
