Колючка триголкова gasterosteus aculeatus (gasterosteidae) – iнтродуцент водойм захiдноподiльського приднiстров’я

There was described a new species for fish fauna of Western Podolian Prydnistrovya – stickleback Gasterosteus aculeatus Linnaeus, 1758 (Gasterosteidae). The changes of plastic and meristic characters, diet and propagation in comparison with other water bodies of Ukraine were studied. It was shown that present conditions of nonmigratory form of stickleback in waters of the region are favourable. There was made a conclusion on high possibility of further increase of the stickleback number and enlargement of its distribution range.

The investigation of the species composition of segetal flora of the Prut-Dniester interfluve states, that the family Asteraceae takes leading position in the families spectrum. It is determined that during the process of anthropogenesis the species composition of the family Asteraceae underwent the largest transformations. Expansion of the species diversity results from the invasion of the adventive species of North American origin.

Size-weight structure of ground beetles complexes in subaquatic ecosystems of Prysamar’ya Dniprovs’ke (Dnipropetrovs’k region) was studied by distribution of species quantity and biomass. The principles of size-weight groups’ distribution in subaquatic ecosystems of floodland, sandy, saline and suprafloodland terraces were analyzed. Shannon and Pielou species diversity indices of Carabidae were determined.

Влияние индивидуальности кормового растения на изменчивость приспособительно важных признаков зеленой дубовой листовертки и ее взаимодействие с паразитами

The paper is addressed to the investigation of the influence of individual properties of a fodder plant Quercus pubescens Willd. on the variability of fitness-important features in genotype classes of oak leafroller moths Tortrіx vіrіdana L. and on the moths’ interaction with parasites. The interaction of the factors describing the pubescent oak individuality and the leafroller genetics contributes up to 22 % in males’ and 42 % in females’ total variability of the fitness-important features. Parasite Itoplectis maculator F. chooses the leafroller pupae in dependence on their sizes. Specific features of particular fodder plant determine this selective choice in relation to alternative genotypes of the oak leafroller moth.

Морфометричні показники ляща (abramis brama) кременчуцького водосховища

The article considers the long-term resultant action of complex of existing factors on the morphometric indices of the bream (Abramis brama L.) in the Kremenchuk reservoir. The breams with the best exterior indices were fished by traditional fishing net during more than 40 years. This fact resulted in the survival of individuals with certain direction of variability and conduces to the change of an average index to particular value. As a result of the research, functional accordance of the morphometric indices with the environmental conditions was ascertained.

Influence of copper ions concentration gradient on the activity of peroxidase prepared from Populus deltoidеs Marsh. leaves was studied in vitro for plants growing near the mercury combine and zinc factory of Donbass and in a city square. Leaf peroxidase of plants from industrial territories was shown to be more resistant to Cu2+ inhibiting action.

Ae. vexans larvae are attributed to pseudobenthos. During feeding they are able both to filtrate and to scratch a periphyton from the substratum. As to larvae of Ae. vexans in flood oakwoods of the Dnipro River the detritus makes up two third, but algae – one third of the ration.

Характеристика содержания бензола в органах и тканях бесхвостых амфибий из различных по степени загрязнения мест обитания

Benzene content in organs and tissues of tailless amphibians from the habitats different on the degree of contamination (sewage area Dniprovsko-Orelsky nature reserve of chemical enterprises and control biotopes of the Dniprovsko-Orelsky nature reserve) was studied. The coefficients of benzene bioaccumulation in organs and tissues were calculated. An estimation of organs as the benzene micro - and macro concentrators is given. Comparative analysis of the benzene accumulation in aquatic and terrestrial amphibians has been prepared.
