Social media allow democratization and immediate access to information. Despite this, a significant disadvantage of these platforms is the dissemination of fake news. Fake news is usually presented in the form of text; therefore, it is relevant to investigate it with linguistic, content-based analysis, to better understand how and why users decide to share the content regardless of its trustworthiness. To this date, few studies have a qualitative approach and most linguistic analyses of fake news often use machine learning or deep learning techniques. To overcome this shortcoming and improve fake news recognition, this research aims at analysing 50 racial hoaxes selected from debunking websites in Italy (Bufale.net, Butac.it), with a quanti-qualitative approach. Hoaxes’ titles were collected, classified, organized, and analysed using psycholinguistic methodologies. The study aims to identify the language features that make racial hoaxes engaging and explore their variation across different types of threats. The main results of the study pointed out how racial hoaxes are characterised by the widespread use of provocative emotional content; moreover, more negatively polarised words, more vulgar expressions and in general, a more aggressive connotated language were found in criminality threat hoaxes compared to the others.

Nevşehir, during the Ottoman period, was a settlement that experienced a process of spatial development both rurally and urbanly through the efforts of state officials and, during the Republic period, through national development efforts. The aim of this research is to analyze the spatial development of the city of Nevşehir from its initial establishment to the present in the context of its physical structuring. The design of this study consists of three stages: The first stage involves presenting the geographical location and historical background up to the Ottoman period. The second stage involves a detailed evaluation of the emergence of the city of Nevşehir in the context of the patronage of an Ottoman pasha in the first quarter of the 18th century and the subsequent development of social-cultural spatial elements based on data obtained from written sources. The third stage examines the reflections of the effects of Republican ideology on the rural and spatial development process. Here, changes in the administrative status of the city due to geopolitical and administrative reasons, as well as changes in spatial elements arising from migration, industrialization, tourism, and new production areas, will be addressed. This study, with an interdisciplinary approach, will contribute to the discussion of the spatial and functional effects of administrative arrangements and demographic changes in the context of the urbanization process. It will also provide an analytical framework for planning decisions regarding the city’s future in the context of the interaction between migration, industrialization, tourism, and urbanization.

Upon the Mahdiyya era having been closed in 1899, a new period in Sudan called Condominium, designating the joint administration of England and Egypt, was entered in Sudan. This period, witnessing the struggle of both parties for influence evolved to a political state where British authorities were effectual. However, this ceaseless struggle for influence between the two countries carried on until the self-determination process of Sudan. Moreover, the contribution made by this contest to the self-determination process of Sudan is well-credited. The Anglo-Egyptian tussle could not avert the submission of the new generation in Sudan to independence in the years to follow. Just like in the whole World, the demand for independence in Sudan has been called out since 1940s. As a response to the irrepressible demand for independence, England gradually initiated the process which would lead to Sudan’s autonomy, and ultimately its independence. Sudan gaining an autonomous status in 1953 caused political parties to increase their efficacy. This process also facilitated an electoral system in Sudan based on self-governance for the first time. As a result of the general elections held towards the end of 1953, Ismail al-Azhari became the first Prime Minister of Sudan having won the elections. A short while later, the British and Egyptian bureaucrats serving in Sudan began to be replaced by the Sudanese. Upon constitutional regulations, total independence of Sudan was enacted by the Sudanese Parliament on 1 January 1956. Thus, the Sudanese owned an independent country the future of which they would determine like the countries in the rest of the world.

The aim of this paper is to review the place and significance of physical education (PE) classes in the younger grades of primary school, both within the physical education system and the educational system in general. The contribution of such organized teaching to pupils’ physical activities and the possibility for them to be physically active on a daily basis will be pointed out. Additionally, the intention of this paper is to emphasize the necessity of regular physical activity, particularly at the younger school age, and the numerous positive effects that that participation in these activities produce for the body. The World Health Organization recommends 60 minutes of moderate to intense physical activity every day. Unfortunately, data indicate that a significant percentage of children and adolescents fail to meet even the recommended minimum, with physical activity levels showing a tendency to decline with age, and sedentary lifestyles being prevalent among this population. Insufficient physical activity can also result in negative impacts on health status. Given its purpose and broad reach, the school is one of the key points for implementing certain interventions in order to overcome these problems. The teacher’s daily interaction with pupils during school hours inevitably aids in understanding their personalities, enabling the structuring of relevant and engaging content that would provide incentives for regular physical activity of various types and levels. This is precisely where the “power” of homeroom teaching of PE lies, as the content of physical activities can be applied throughout the entire school environment, not solely confined to PE classes. With ongoing monitoring of pupils’ progress throughout the whole teaching process, there is an opportunity for faster identification of children at an increased risk of engaging in sedentary activities, allowing for targeted interventions to be implemented.
