INVESTIGATION OF THE ATTITUDES OF STUDENTS WITH MUSIC TEACHING TRAINING TO ORCHESTRA LESSONS

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research is to examine the attitudes of students who receive music teacher education towards orchestra lessons. In line with this purpose, the attitudes of the 3rd and 4th grade students studying in the music education departments of different universities towards the orchestra lessons were determined in the research. Niğde Ömer Halisdemir, Yüzüncü Yıl, Giresun, Necmettin Erbakan, Gaziosmanpaşa, Trabzon, Ondokuz Mayıs Universities, who were determined by the simple random sampling method from the universities in seven geographical regions within the scope of the 2022-2023 academic year, who studied music at the 3rd and 4th grade levels of the study group of the research. constitutes students. The data related to the research were collected using the Attitude Scale towards Orchestra Lessons developed by Öztopalan and Uçal Canakay (2016). In line with the research findings, it was concluded that the attitudes of the students who received music teacher education towards the orchestra lessons were generally positive.
