Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to determine the attitudes of middle school students towards music lesson and to examine these attitudes in terms of class, gender, participation in activities related to music lesson, education status of parents, taking private music lessons and students having their own instrument. The descriptive survey model was used in the research. In line with the findings obtained, it was found that middle school students' attitudes towards music lesson were positive, female students had a more positive attitude than male students according to gender variable, there was a significant difference in favor of 5th, 6th and 7th grade students according to the grade level variable, there is a significant difference in their participation in relevant activities; It was determined that the students 'attitudes towards the music lesson did not differ significantly according to the variables of the parents' education level, the student's private music lesson status and having her own instrument.
