Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the features of the lexical-semantic method of terminological formation based on the Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Russian, Polish and Czech languages. Lexical units from the different terminological systems of modern science and technology were compered in this article. The results demonstrate common approaches to the process of formation of new special nominations in the analyzed Slavic languages.
