TREATMENTS OF ALBANIAN WOMEN ISSUE IN ILEGAL JOURNAL “KOSOVARJA E RE” (1983-1984), INFORMATIVE BODY OF BGK OF LRSSHJ

Summary/Abstract: Albanian women issue was an unsolved problem in entire histo-rical periods. Together with the problems and the fate of a nation were dealing women. The slavery and unsolved national issue, as was claimed by a renaissance writer, most hardly was felt by women. Thus, as inseparable part of the fighting for freedom and independence, permanently and without any reserve were involved also Albanian women. History knows lots of brave women which together with men took active part in the fighting for liberty. But, for the one I would like to write and remain longer, is the period after the World War Two, when Kosovo and lots of other Albanian lands were annexed by trea-son from ex-Yugoslavia and Serbia. Albanian woman never had seen herself separated from man, but with whole her forces was involved and fought side by side with them, sacrificing even her life. Albanian woman was active and participated in considerable number almost in all illegal patriotic organizations which were acting in Kosovo and other Albanian regions in ex-Yugoslavia. Our patriots who were enga-ged in freeing occupied regions, somehow acted in two lines. They involved women as well and fought for her gender rights. Regarding women wrote lots of newspapers, but in order to be emphasized all her noble values, Albanian illegality wrote parallel in illegal journals such as “Zëri i Kosovës”, “Liria”, “Bashkimi”, “Lajmëtari i Lirisë”, “Revo-lucioni” and lots of others which I won’t mention here. It should be no-ted that a meritorious place has also the press which was dedicated exclusively to women and her engagement in the combats for freedom and independence.
