Summary/Abstract: Raising somewhat in the shadow of his elder brother, the famous political and state politician Ion IC Bratianu, whom he always supported with admiration and with unbounded devotion, Vintilă IC Bratianu inscribed his name in the modern history of Romania as initiator And a genius promoter of the liberal economic doctrine "By ourselves". Through their activity in the first decades of the twentieth century, the two brothers led brilliantly the modernization and development of the Romanian state, started in the last decades of the previous century by their father, the former prime minister and Founder of the National Liberal Party, Ion C. Bratianu, together with King Carol I. The artisan of the liberal economic policy after 1920, Vintilă Bratianu was born on September 3, 1867, in the parental house in Bucharest.
