Summary/Abstract: The author tries to reconstruct private and public life, with his joys and his sadness, using the documents of the archives - certificates of deed, marriage, dowries, wills, inventories of the Cantacuzene palace, signed correspondence And dated 8 April 1895 and January 1900 - concerning the balls and evenings of the Royal Palace of Bucharest. A description is also given of the atmosphere of the court and the sovereigns Charles I-er and Elisabethe. And all this is accompanied by photos that are in the collections and collections of the National Arhives of Romania - important sources of information for exhibitions in museums
