Summary/Abstract: On February 5, 2005, 50 years have passed since the death of Constantin Argetoiano, a remarkable Romanian politician of the first half of the last century, who left behind more than 25,000 pages of memories and notices concerning time and events Which took place. By the documentary and artistic value of an exceptional importance left a descendants, he is considered the most important memorialist of the Romanian life of wars. Starting from family memories and noting with a genuine vocation as a true "modern chronicler" - fact that we also mention it in the title of this presentation - just about everything that happened most important during a life full of Events of the two world wars, the memorialist painted in a very lively, colorful and truthful manner the picture of Romanian society at the end of the nineteenth century and the first half of the century.
