Summary/Abstract: The condition of the attention of children with special educational needs (SEN) has an extremely significant place in the formation of their cognitive and emotional-volitional sphere. The attention influences all their activity and the efficiency of the teaching process. In this context, the article directs to the necessity of the improvement of both theoretical and practically-oriented education of the students. They must be competent enough to be able to create an adequate organization of the learning process that could support the development of the attention and its different features. It is important for the future teacher not only to know the peculiarities of the attention of small students with SEN but also to use effective methods for attention’s diagnostics, for increasing the degree and improvement of its features as well as techniques for its activation, support, management and development.
