CONSIDERATIONS CRIMINAL LIABILITY OF LEGAL ENTITY IN THE NEW PENAL CODE

Summary/Abstract: The study presents tha main novelties regarding the criminal liability of legal persons as a result of the entry into force of the new criminal legislation. The article provides an overview of the main aspects that govern the regime, being outlined the changes brought by the new Criminal Code, as a result of opinions expressed in the doctrine, such as immunity from the jurisdiction of the public institutions, the application of the fine penalty in the case of a legal person, introduction of a new complementary penalty or the regulation of plurality of crimes in the case of a legal person.
