Summary/Abstract: Learning a foreign language by means of artistic practice goes beyond adapting to an informal academic environment, reaching into the realm of activating new strategies and different cognitive resources. Within this context, the intuitive intercomprehension of the written text, together with its translation, represent the foundation of the first theater arts workshops of the ARTLINGO project, leading, at the same time, to improved language skills and playing a major role in establishing the fundamentals of intercomprehension in Romance languages.
