Revitalization Projects as a Chance for Levelling the Problems of Local Labor Market on the Example of Selected Towns from Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship and West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The interest in topics related to revitalization has increased in recent years in Poland. Recently with the possibility of financing revitalization projects from the EU funds, especially from regional operational programs, it has become even more important, bothin the theory of local and regional development as well as in the practice of managing localself-government units. The aim of this study is to determine the conditions of revitalization projects related to the problem of unemployment and their significance for the local labormarket. This is discussed on the basis of examples of two towns from two Polish voivodeships (regions). It proves that projects related to counteracting the problems of unemployment and unemployed have significant place in revitalization programs and their successful implementation should leave to improvement of the local labor market
