Summary/Abstract: The monograph was based on theoretical analyses and practical tests carried out in the natural environment of respondents in Poland and Ukraine. It is the result of a joint international research project conducted as part of the Centre for Science and Research Cooperation: Poland–Ukraine at the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz. The Centre includes science representatives from the University of Lodz, Taras Shevchenko National University of Luhansk (LNU) in Starobielsk in Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The research has identified a number of social and economic problems related to the internationalization processes of Polish and Ukrainian organizations. The publication is the outcome of the 2nd International Scientific Conference, “Internationalization of Enterprises – Conditions, Strategies, Research Results”. The conference has a theoretical, methodical, practical as well as cyclical nature, and it alternates with a scientific seminar on similar topics organized in Ukraine.

- Summary/Abstract:The paper discusses the development of road transport in the context of the demand for workers, which is unevenly distributed across the European Union. The aim of the study was to determine the impact of the amendment of EU legislation on posting of workers on unemployment in selected EU countries. The article presents the characteristics of unemployment in the largest economies of the European Union. The introduction of the new EU directive is aimed at equalizing road transport salaries in all EU countries, which is expected to result in the loss of competitive advantage of companies from Central and Eastern Europe. The research methods used in the article are the analysis of literature and data of the Central Statistical Office and Eurostat.

- Summary/Abstract:During supply chain analyze, it seen that even the best price offer reduced without transport costs. The aim of article is examine the dependence between transport costs on final prices and user interest for final products. Article presents practical connection between elements of flows logistic and team of people performing the order as a whole. Also considered topic about efficiency different means of transport, transport optimization and reduction of delivery costs. Evaluation various types of transport for various factors was carried out. Also improving the quality of services thanks to introduction of management system in accordance with international standards (including ISO 28000) was taken in attention.

- Summary/Abstract:In the article was discussed all of the aspects of billing the outsourcing service in the formula of remuneration for the result. An attempt to assess the popularity of the success fee formula in advisory services was discussed on the example of the commercial real estate sector. The following key factors were brought up of selection such method of outsourcing billing as: responsibility, quality, trust, effectiveness and durability of implemented consul¬ting projects. The undertaking of this issue results from the conviction of the significant impact of the choice of the formula of cooperation, and the adoption of activities by the principals and the effectiveness of the tasks carried out by the contractors. The author of the report base on her twenty years of professional experience related to real estate market services and an interview carried out on a group of 15 entrepreneurs, which confirm the relationship between the outsourcing service payment method in the form of success fee and the implementation and as a consequence the result.

- Summary/Abstract:The aim of this article is to analyze and discuss the factors impacting the process of the implementation of crowdfunding by the Polish film industry. The presented study is based on the qualitative approach: unstructured or semi-structured interviews, questionnaires and the analysis of case studies. The respondents enumerated and evaluated a wide spectrum of factors facilitating and hindering the adoption rate: from general barriers (e.g. legal regulation of crowdfunding) to very specific aspects for filmmaking (e.g. the unprofessional promotional video of the crowdfunding project). The findings highlighted the significance of the following factors: the existing strong filmmakers’ attitude that ‘crowdfunding is for film beginners’, the complexity of team management (film crew) during the process of crowdfunding campaigns, and the cultural aspects of seeking financial support from friends.

- Summary/Abstract:The cultural sector, although it is not the largest sector of economic activity, has a significant impact on the economic development of the country. Both the state, as the main patron of culture, as well as the private sector together with the non-profit sector, support both the activities of the cultural sector and the creative industries sector. - Summary/Abstract:The study focuses on the analysis of the ways of internationalization of micro and small Ukrainian enterprises. It contains such elements as: introduction, analysis of the functioning conditions of micro and small enterprises in Ukraine, analysis of the own research results in the following areas: understanding the nature of the internationalization process, motives and barriers to the internationalization of micro and small Ukrainian enterprises in the applied internationalization strategies. The introduction includes the purpose of the study and the characteristics of the empirical research. The internationalization of small Ukrainian enterprises has been described. - Summary/Abstract:The specifics of development of retail trade in Ukraine, through its further internationalization, consists in satisfying various consumer needs, which forces retailers to diversify their capabilities, while taking into account the specialized needs of individual customer groups. As a result of combining two opposing trends – diversification and specialization on the consumer market – a new dualistic strategy is being developed that dictates the logic of the emergence and development of new commercial formats of enterprises. Research and the synthesis of new trends in the development of these global trade formats are becoming a precondition for entrepreneurs to define their own strategy to maintain their position in the consumer market.
