Interpersonal communication supposes a dialogue system of information and symbols transmitted and intercepted on a verbal and nonverbal basis. Communion implies a rise towards a spiritual comprehension according to which communication with our fellow creatures is achieved by joint participation in the communion life of the Holy Trinity. We can regain spiritual authority by referring to God and holy precepts and then return in the world and preach the holy word.

The study entitled Romanian clergymen and schoolmasters with change surnames from the historical region of Banat (1721-1865) treats the abusive change of Romanian patronymics by the foreign ecclesiastical authority of the time in order to demonstrate – allegedly – that not the Romanians were in the majority within their native province Banat, but the people whose surnames ended in –vić. Nothing more deceitful and untrue ! Therefore, this article aims at restoring the historical reality.

The history of the Romanian Orthodox Church during the communist - atheist regime was marked by the personality of the Patriarch Justinian, because he had one of the longest and hardest pastorate, bearing with a lot of bravery in the patriarch chair for almost three decades (24 May 1948 – 26 March 1977). This year we commemorate 40 years from his passing to the eternity.

The contemporary Orthodox Theology is altogether and at the same time, Path, Truth and Life (cf. Ioan 14, 6) for today’s world. The contemporary Orthodox Theology “yesterday, today and forever, is the same” (cf. Evrei 13, 8). The contemporary Orthodox Theology is, and especially should be equally prophetical, apostolic, patristic and eschatological, fulfilling its ecclesiological, sacramental and philocalic dimension.

The Romanian Orthodox Church supports the development of the village at social, cultural and ecclesiastic level... It is therefore necessary to strengthen the solidarity between urban and rural parishes and much more cooperation with the local, regional and central authorities, in order to support and improve the village life. To this end, it was found that cooperation with state authorities is more efficient whenever their representatives, while exceeding the rigid framework of a certain policy, be it a party policy, are filled with the spirit of the Romanian well-doing, such spirit aimed at asserting a creative trend in all aspects of social life.

Calling and listening are two terms that are used on the pages of Holy Scripture and the Fathers of our Church, very current in our times. Like the apostles, disciples and saints, we are called to obedience to God, the Church and our spiritual parents. Temptations, trials, and tribulations adversaries world we live we can sometimes cause disappointment and even failure, but never forget that, in fulfillment of our mission, and our obedience to the call, we enjoy God’s help.

This Gospel teaches us that God is the sublime end and the meaning of our existence; that it is He who not only gives us “our daily bread”, which we ask for within the Holy Prayer, but at the same time, it is He again who offers us the “bread of life” which is merely His Blood and Body which, by our sincere confession to the priest, take on to forgive our sins and for the eternal life. At the same time, this Gospel provides assurances that God is permanently looking after us, that each and every one of us have our own value even when we are hurting, starving and thirsting, or are oppressed for justice.

A bishop in the Le Mans Bishopric in the 4th century, Saint Liborius distinguished himself by a life lived in parsimony and a fruitful missionary activity. He is held responsible for the building of several churches in the Le Mans Bishopric, also being worshipped as a passionate rescuer of the sick and poor. His relics were moved to Paderborn in the 9th century, to later become the patron of this Bishopric. By moving his Holy Relics, the two cities concluded a twinning deed between the two European cities, which is also held today. Saint Liborius is celebrated on the 23rd of July, in the Orthodox and Catholic Churches.

The Feast of the Annunciation teaches and guides us, all of us, to give, in our turn, the due honor to the Mother of God, because first God the Father, God the Son, Who incarnated in her womb the virgin and God Holy Spirit. All the angels also honored her, the Old Testament prophets, Moses and David, Isaiah and Ezekiel, through their prophecies, St. Elizabeth and John, the infant who „leaped into her womb,“ the Holy Fathers. , participants in the Ecumenical Councils, inspired authors of the dogmas about the Mother of God and the Eternal Virgin Mary and our Church has honored her for two millennia.
