More...The state of Serbia continues the state-orchestrated crime through its judiciary, by being silent and by covering up the atrocities committed in the name of citizens who, proud of their uniformed bandits and desperados, deny the truth, responsibility and justice for the victims. The fourth record of the activities of the Serbian military units - the one about the crimes committed in the zone of responsibility of the 125th Motorized Brigade of the Yugoslav Army - also reveals a series of shocking testimonies about the ferocious murders and persecution...

Çukurova folk culture is a reflection of the region’s folk values, and this culture is the outcome of centuries. Çukurova’s local people reflect all of the events, example values, moral understanding, traditions and customs, daily life, and all of its cultural life in folk culture items. By reference to the characterization of “men’s” discourse by post-modern criticism as more generalized than that of women, as capable – unlike that of women, “which is invariably aimed at someone and concerns someone” – of being “addressed to no one at all” from a strictly communicational perspective, the conclusion is drawn that from the communicational point of view “male discourse more closely resembles a monologue, while that of women is effected in direct or mediated dialogue”. The cultural consequences of these communicational differences are analyzed in this paper from the point of view of culture sensu latu as well as from the narrower perspective of theatre and drama.

Investigation of meaning stands in line with the most complex linguistic investigations. How complex this question is, tells the fact that besides linguistics, other humanistic disciplines such as: semiotics, anthropology, philosophy, logic and psychology, are involved. The topic of the paper is semantic relation of antonymy of the most frequent phrasemes in the language of folk songs. We will point out certain semantic values of the analyzed phraseme, that could be developed on different levels, as well as some modifications noticed with phrasemes of loose structure in relation to characteristics of literary and belles-lettres functional style. Approach to this heterogeneous complex is founded on the grounds of contemporary linguistics, although the term phraseme is based on structuralistic model, which is logically based on the model of linguistic sign. Also, the term contrast is taken, or to be more precise the term binary of word structure, and the analysis of this type of text is conditioned on the concept-folk song text, as a linguistic context, but also as a nonlinguistic-verbal culture as a whole. So here, we approach to phrasemes as a linguistic units, considering their place and meaning in the text, but also considering their function and meaning in culture, so we speak indirectly about them, as culturemas.
