From 24 years Poland gives shelter to refugees under the Geneva Convention of 1951 on refugee status and under the New York Protocol of 1967. The article consists of two parts. In the first part the analysis of statistical data concerning the number of foreign pupils in Polish schools (divided into provinces) was done from the school year 2001/2002 to 2013/2014. This part also consists of law regulations knowledge associated with the education of the “Culturally different” children in the other cultural and educational institutions in Poland. The second part consists of characteristics of the teachers’ and headmasters’ competence and the difficulties they encounter in their work. In this part has been cited partial results of research based on qualitative interviews conducted by the author in 2011–2014 with teachers who teach foreign children in schools in Warsaw. It was also given an example of "good practice" schools that have developed their own methods of working with the immigrant students.

Participants of this study consisted of a group of young persons in their last years of secondary school, as well as students studying at higher education institutions. The youth group was presented with five (fictional, but realistic) case studies, which were summarized descriptions of operational-reconnaissance activities, carried out by special and police services. The task assigned to each anonymously participating student was to submit a declaration as to the readiness to participate in the activity described, playing the role of a secret partner as well as having the ability to conduct a moral evaluation of the activities undertaken by special and police services. Overall, the readiness to participate in such activity decreased as operational risk increased, and this was independent of the significance or importance of offences which were worked out or solved by the services. On the other hand, moral evaluation depended on the subject towards which loyalties could have been violated as a result of activities carried out.

The Behavioral Analysis Interview (BAI) is the only questioning method that has been developed specifically to help investigators sort those who are likely to be ‘guilty’ from those who are not. In its typical application the BAI is a pre-interrogation interview that is used to focus interrogational effort; however, it also can be used independently in order to circumscribe investigative efforts in those cases in which there is a fixed and relatively large number of ‘suspects’. In this paper an overview of the BAI process is provided and the findings and limitations of the extant bodies of field and laboratory research on the BAI are discussed. The paper concludes with suggestions to guide future research on the BAI.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the modern arms trade, as well as the position of Ukraine in this market. It is necessary to proceed from the fact that in recent years there has been an increase in imports and exports caused by changes in the international security system, for instance, the annexation of the Crimea and military actions in eastern Ukraine, as well as the war in Syria. For this reason, it is worth noting the differences that have arisen between the time intervals of 2014–2017 and 2008–2013. This will allow to compare changes in the arms trade market. This period is also a milestone for the arms industry of Ukraine, as it has been undergoing significant changes since 2014. The source basis will be data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, as well as documents on the analysis of the Ukrainian market, provided, for example, by the Ukroboronprom Concern.

During the study on the optimal portfolio of social and physical environmental factors influencing the stimulation of employee creativity, the authors propose extending the existing non-remote work model to the hybrid model. They assume that certain factors stimulating creativity in the hybrid model can serve as substitutes for those existing in the non-remote model. A series of research questions were formulated, addressing optimal social and physical environmental factors in both work models. Qualitative empirical research, based on in-depth interviews, was conducted. Content analysis was one of the methods used in the qualitative study, focusing on the perception and experiences of participants. The results of qualitative research indicate the need to understand which social and physical environmental factors are optimal for stimulating employee creativity in different work models. Designing workspace becomes a key element supporting organizational innovation, with features such as the presence of plants, sounds, flexible furniture, and relaxation spaces significantly influencing employee creativity. In summary, these studies aim to identify factors influencing employee creativity in the hybrid model and confirm their potential role as substitutes for existing factors in the non-remote model.
