The article is devoted to the use of the instrument of social animation, to initiate changes. In the text it could be found examples of completed animation projects as well as specifying the social animation itself (defined as: the direction of the activities in the social environment, the method of stimulation of social activity and the process of personal development by those participating in it). In the structure of examples presentation, reference known from the literature, a Piotr Sztompka typology of social changes, were used. However, attention has been focused on structural changes, as in the author point of view, this area of transformation is particularly associated with the activities in the area of social animation.

ŠTA POKAZUJU ARGUMENTI HOLANDSKE KNJIGE?

The Dutch Book Arguments are one of the main reasons for the great success of the subjective interpretation of probability. These arguments helped the subjective interpretation to become a serious candidate for an interpretation of the axioms of probability theory during the period in which there was a certain tendency towards an objectivist and epistemic interpretative direction. Later, the subjective interpretation along with the Dutch Book Arguments was greatly developed in technical terms and became widely used in various scientific fields (e.g. decision and game theory) in which there was a need for probability theory. In this article, we will show how and why the Dutch Book arguments were essential for the subjective interpretation during its development, which additions to the arguments were made later, and then we will show the main substantive assumptions of the argument. Finally, we will analyze the plausibility of the assumptions and show that, in order to preserve the goals and conclusions of the Dutch Book Arguments, we should adopt a version of interpretative primitivism within the subjective interpretation of probability.

„Czy nie czujesz się czasem samotny?” – pyta swojego brata bohaterka filmu Duchy Inisherin (grana przez Kerry Condon). Ów brat -poczciwiec (w tej roli Colin Farrell) obrusza się na to dziwne pytanie – nie rozumie go: przecież mieszkają razem w domu po rodzicach i mają mnóstwo ludzi dookoła. Bagatelizuje tę kwestię, ale w rzeczywistości sam zmaga się z widmem osamotnienia i porzucenia. Właśnie orientuje się, że jego wieloletni przyjaciel (grany przez Brendana Gleesona) postanowił cał-kowicie zerwać z nim kontakty – zaprzestać z nim „próżnych pogaduch” po to, żeby skupić się na komponowaniu muzyki i poszukiwaniu sławy. To pytanie o samotność nie zostało zrozumiane, bo bohater nie wiedział, że bycie wśród ludzi nie wyklucza samotności.

Statistika në shkencat sociale dhe sociologjia matematike

The mathematics and the models it offers are very helpful for testing social theories. We focus on the history of the relationship between statistics and the social sciences as well as in one of the latest trends in contemporary sociology, such as mathematical sociology. It is argued that a social theory should not be tested by means of a statistical model without taking into consideration whether or not the properties of this model correspond to the theoretical problem the researcher has set out to test. We view mathematics as a general tool for testing the inner logic of social theories and argue that the use of mathematical modeling is a powerful tool for bridging the gap between sociological theory and quantitative analysis. It is concluded that the only way to find the proper statistical model in sociological studies is to go via a mathematical model.

Bashkësitë dhe operatorët e “vegjël” në Analizën Funksionale

Each of us in daily life has come across with images that show great interest due to the perfect combination of beauty, complexity and that of infinite structure. These images are called Fractal and their visible feature that characterizes them is self-similarity, which means the one part is reminiscent of the whole. This self-similarity it can be exact, fairly accurate or statistical. Given the definition of the size of a set as “the minimum number of coordinates needed to define each point of the set”, we reach an odd conclusion to the case of Fractal: The length of a “line” that links the two ends points has infinite length and hence it follows that we cannot determine occurrence of a point in a Fractal by the oriented length because this length is infinite. How will we operate to find the size of a fractal? In this paper, based in the concepts of “smallness”, using the sets and the operators most frequently encountered in mathematical analysis, and so the measurement theory, the functional analysis and operator’s theory, we come up with a formulas to calculate the magnitude of Fractal. The analyses and the concepts used can be valuable to anyone, engineers, and economists etc. who are interest-depth studies for certain purposes.

Based on qualitative analysis, the contribution presents a range of views on the definition of the term family. In connection with social development, constant changes, the accelerating pace of life, the family is continuously developing. The fragmentation of the claims lies in the transformation of the family, especially in the diversification of its forms, the destabilization of relationships, as well as in its functioning, resistance, and fulfillment of functions. The contemporary postmodern family includes elements of the traditional and modern model, but its modern phenomena are the pluralization, tension and fragility of family relationships.

This paper provides a systematic literature review of studies investigating deep learning-based sensing and extended reality technologies, virtual simulation and data acquisition tools, and spatial cognition and neural network algorithms configuring virtual urban environments. Throughout April 2023, a quantitative literature review of the Web of Science, Scopus, and ProQuest databases was performed, with search terms including “digital twin cities and immersive 3D environments” + “deep learning-based sensing and extended reality technologies,” “visual recognition and geospatial mapping tools,” and “virtual simulation and spatial cognition algorithms.” As research published in 2022 and 2023 was inspected, only 144 articles satisfied the eligibility criteria, and 21 mainly empirical sources were selected. Post-feminism: the individumanism

Being "woman" is not all that a person is. It says very little of the individual trajectory. The woman is plural: women. They only exist in the particular form that encloses them. You cannot compare two women or even two men. They are different stories. What should be taken into account is not a matter of gender, but a matter of choices, personal efforts, and individual capacities and so on. This, on the other hand, does not imply the defense of an extreme individualization, but the conviction that this process is almost invariably a humanization of relations. The social feeling of recognition of our human condition. That is, the more we strive for the recognition of our individuality, the more we amplify the dynamics of mutual consideration. Thus, promoting a spiral of recognition among people and, with it, a concrete humanism. What is at issue is the individuality - that distinguishes us from the others -and our humanity-that unites us. Just by operating within these two categories, can we overcome false social prejudices and move towards equality that is not composed of homogeneities but differences that recognize each other as human between the particular and the universal? Exceeding stereotypical intermediate categories: black; women; Poor; Rich; Whites; Bourgeois; workers; Class and so on.

Kavoliškos mįslės. intelektualų dilema – tada ir dabar

By analyzing the early work of famous Lithuanian sociologist V. Kavolis and the analytical scheme of intellectuals unfolding in it, the article presents the Kavolian concept of intellectuals. The latter is associated with such a rationality in which a cold mind and a taintless conscience coexist, which promotes the duty to improve the reflection of public affairs by recognizing the awareness of one’s own limits and the right of others to think differently. The text discusses such features of intellectuals like cognitive, analytical and communicative abilities, forms of sociality that nurture concern for public affairs, and moral culture. Kavolis was concerned not only with the understanding of particular social phenomena, but also with the possibility of contributing to the development of individual and public awareness. After discussing the concept of intellectuals composed by Kavolis, the article indicates parallels related to his sociological imagination and particular research method, which converge and develop in the later work of the sociologist. Finally, it draws the line between the model of public intellectuals constructed by the author a few decades ago and its ability to interpret contemporary reality.

INFLUENȚA CAPITALULUI EROTIC ASUPRA SUCCESULUI PROFESIONAL ȘI SOCIAL

The main objective of the study was to explore the theory of erotic capital created by Catherine Hakim (2011). Starting from her theory – which says that individuals with a high erotic capital have some advantages in life – I have analyzed both the construction process of the erotic capital and the advantages and disadvantages of this form of capital. In my research I was focused on the following aspects: identifying the components of erotic capital, analyzing the social construction of erotic capital, and identifying the role of erotic capital in the personal lives of respondents. I used a qualitative research method, the interview. The results I obtained are largely in consonance Hakim’s theory of erotic capital, all its components were presented and commented on by the respondents. Another important aspect of the study comes from the new perspectives which emerged during the research. Apart from the components of the erotic capital proposed by Hakim, in my own research it was identified other essential elements of erotic capital such as: self-confidence, intelligence, sense of humor, love or ability to adapt to new situations. This research was an exploratory one, being the basis of future research.

The situation of long-term imprisonment is an area requiring intensive exploration. A special complement to this issue are the relevant legal regulations, which determine the uniqueness of a specific, optimal model of penitentiary proceedings in the context of a long-term penalty. The family will provide significant support for the process of change, correction and revaluation, as it ensures comprehensive and coherent activities that build the future of the individual from the perspective of the social inclusion process.

İnsan-Robot Etkileşimine Zihin Algısı Özelinde Bilişsel Bilimler Penceresinden Bakış

The developments in artificial intelligence over the past 20 years have introduced socially interactive robots that interact with people and learn from human interactions. Nowadays, there are social robots that teach mathematics or language to children, aid in the treatment and rehabilitation of individuals with autism, and guide customers in banks and restaurants. How these new ‘entities’ are perceived and accepted by humans is a subject that is currently being explored. There are two important reasons for understanding this issue: Firstly, to provide feedback from a social sciences perspective to engineers who will produce robots that will play significant roles in our lives. Secondly, to understand the characteristics that make humans uniquely human and differentiate them from other similar beings. With these aims in mind, one of the main research questions at the intersection of human-robot interaction and cognitive sciences is whether humans attribute mental capacities to robots. This review article addresses the concept of mind attribution in cognitive sciences and provides a comprehensive evaluation of articles that examine mind attribution to robots. Additionally, the methods used in attributing minds to robots and the factors influencing mind attribution will be emphasized, shedding light on future interdisciplinary studies in cognitive sciences and humanrobot interaction.
