The discipline of organizational behaviour both has an interdisciplinary feature and presents a great variety of study field through utilization of different disciplines such as pyschology, antropology, sociology and also using different research units like individual, group, organization. With considering this various field of study, different subjects have been examined as focus point. In this study scientific researches concerning to organizational behaviour are examined and it is aimed at determining how the focused subjects display a distribution among basic factors as years, title, method etc. In scope of the research, the articles at organizational behavior field which published at Universities’ Social Sciences journals between the years 2012-2016 in Turkey, are examined. The research data are acquired by determination of the journals by years through using of ULAKBİM database filtration system and the determined 332 articles are tested with content analysis in regard to key words, place of publication, authors and method. In conclusion of the research higher focus on “individual” as keynote title is determined among the main themes and according to sub-themes it is ascertained that leadership, job satisfaction and organizational commitment subjects are studied with priority. It is also determined that approximately %86 of the analyzed articles adopted the quantitative method and %14 of them adopted the qualitative method.

The article discusses the topic of obtaining by employers information concerning their future employees in the provisions on the protection of personal data applicable in Poland. The main research problem is to determine whether the processing of personal data of candidates for employees at the request of a potential employer has been regulated in the provisions of the Labor Code in a way that allows for their unambiguous interpretation and does not create an opportunity to discriminate candidates for employees in the course of recruitment processes. The first part of the article describes the general principles of the processing of personal data of candidates for employees and the general principles of the protection of personal data of candidates for employees processed at the request of a potential employer. The following sections focus on more detailed problems, such as: the processing of personal data of a candidate for an employee regarding education, professional qualifications and the course of previous employment, or the processing by a potential employer of the date of birth and PESEL number and residence address of a candidate for an employee. The summing-up includes the most important de lege lata and de lege ferenda conclusions resulting from the conducted considerations.

To do this, it is necessary to define the award itself for the purposes of the labor law system. Kilka uwag na temat stosowania pracy na własny rachunek z naruszeniem art. 22 Kodeksu Pracy

The main objective of the foregoing study is to show the causes and circumstances of the use of self-employment in violation of Art. 22 of the Labour Code, as well as an attempt to find solutions to effectively and efficiently combat fictitious self-employment. The legal solutions in force in this regard are not sufficient, and the scale of abuse is enormous. It is estimated that in Poland the number of self-employed people operating in conditions characteristic of an employment relationship varies between 130,000 and 180,000, although in my opinion these figures are greatly underestimated. The considerations presented here are the result of the research conducted under the direction of profesor Tomasz Duraj within the framework of a research grant funded by the National Science Centre entitled ”In search of a legal model of self-employment in Poland. The Problems of Remote Work in Polish Labour Code

Section IIC of the Labour Code that was adopted by the Parliament in December 2022 introduces new regulations concerning remote work to Polish labour legislation. Thus, the binding legal provisions included in the anti-Covid legislation were repealed. The legislation authority established a new model of remote work. The aim of this study is to provide a general characteristic of this model. For the purposes of this article, I will focus mainly on the subjective and objective issues. The essence of remote work consists in performing this work at a location specified by the employee and agreed with the employer. The results of remote work are submitted with the use of means of remote communication. De lege lata, two types may be distinguished: contractual remote work and remote work that is designated unilaterally. This allows the parties to the employment relationship to adapt it in a flexible way to the diverse conditions of the work environment at the dawn of the post-industrial era.

Vis maior jako powód zwolnienia od pracy

One of the completely new rights given to employees as a result of the April 2023 amendments to the Labour Code is exemption from work due to force majeure in urgent family matters caused by illness or accident, if the employee’s immediate presence is necessary (Art. 1481 § 1 of the Labour Code). When interpreting the law, there is the concept of rationality of the legislator, which should be applied here. Which means that the employee does not so much have to request the employer to take time off from work due to force majeure above, but remains obliged to report absence from work in advance or report the need to leave the workplace for an urgent family matter caused by illness or accident. Applying in this case the interpretation developed on the basis of the provisions on leave on demand to Art. 1481 of the Labour Code does not remain justified.

Longitudinal associations between psychiatric comorbidity and the severity of gambling disorder: Results from a 36-month follow-up study of clients in Bavarian outpatient addiction care

Background and aims: Individuals with gambling disorder (GD) often suffer from psychiatric comorbidities. Previous studies demonstrated greater severity of GD among gamblers with psychiatric comorbidities. However, evidence on the association between psychiatric comorbidity and course of GD severity during and after outpatient treatment is sparse. This study analyses data from a longitudinal one-armed cohort study on outpatient addiction care clients over three years. Methods: We investigated the course of GD severity using data from 123 clients in 28 outpatient addiction care facilities in Bavaria using generalized estimation equations (GEE). We applied timep interaction analyses to examine different development profiles in participants with and without (1) affective disorders, or (2) anxiety disorders, and (3) to account for the co-occurrence of both. Results: All participants benefitted from outpatient gambling treatment. Improvement in GD severity was poorer in participants with anxiety disorders compared to participants without anxiety disorders. The co-occurrence of affective and anxiety disorders was linked to a less favourable course of GD than the presence of affective disorders alone. However, the combined occurrence of both disorders was more favourable than the presence of anxiety disorders alone. Discussion and conclusions: Our study suggests that clients with GD, with and without psychiatric comorbidities, benefit from outpatient gambling care. Psychiatric comorbidity, especially comorbid anxiety disorders, seems to be negatively associated with the course of GD within outpatient gambling care. Addressing psychiatric comorbidity within the treatment of GD and offering individualised help are required to meet the needs of this clientele.

Establishment and Termination of Departmental Organization – Application Practice in Slovakia under the Conditions of the Ministry of Education

Budgetary and contributory organizations represent a stable element of public administration organizations in the Slovak Republic. A similar type of organization is also known in the legal regulations of European countries, or countries around the world, most often under the term government agencies. The legal regulation of budgetary and contributory organizations is important from the point of view of their competencies regulation since on the one hand their activities impact a wide spectrum of the users of their services and on the other hand, they are financed from public sources. The aim of the study is to clarify the legal framework for the establishment and termination of these organizations and the application practice in this area under the conditions of Slovak legislation within the competencies of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic. Within the research, methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, and other scientific methods were used. The starting data to analyze are valid regulations in the Slovak Republic, internal legislation of the Ministry of Education, scientific studies, and foreign legislation to regulate the issue abroad. The study provides a basic regulation of the establishment and termination of budgetary and contributory organizations within legal conditions in the Slovak Republic and an overview of the implemented changes in the structure of departmental organizations within application practice in the education sector.

The purpose of this study is to present the development of the specialty “Healthcare Management” from its establishment at the beginning of the twentieth century to the present day, in the USA – the country where this new professional field started to develope at the earliest. Material and methods: A narrative review of full-text articles applying historical method is carried out, revealing the stages and factors that determine the development of the specialty. Results and conclusions: There are three historical stages in the development of the specialty healthcare management in the USA – the foundation of the specialty (1900 - 1944), the period of expansion (1945 - 1970) and a period of adaptation to the changing healthcare regulations and contemporary social challenges (1970 - to the present). The factors that drive the process of development of the specialty in the three stages vary and the most prominent are: turbulent development of the medical science, standardization of the processes of higher education (incl. medical), investments in the hospital sector in the second phase; development of the managed care and health maintenance organizations, healthcare reforms since 2010 as a result of the for affordable care act, as well as the modern technological boom in the health sector.

Challenges of Measuring Social Impact in Romania. A Case Study in a Social Economy Organization Active in the Social Services Field

The main objective of this paper is to systematically review and analyse the first fragile attempts of social impact approach and measurement in Romania. Applicative research will be carried out in a social economy organization active in the social services field to understand the current challenges of measuring and managing social impact faced by social economy organizations. The article concludes with an in-depth discussion and a set of recommendations for developing a more effective national impact measurement framework better calibrated to the social and solidarity economy realities, particularly considering the social services field.

Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale Validation Study of the English Version in an Online Gig Work Context

The self-determination theory (SDT) is a macro theory of human motivation and personality that focuses on people’s innate psychological needs and their desires for growth and development. The Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale (MWMS) is grounded in the SDT and was extensively researched and tested on different cultures, in different languages and in different contexts. The purpose of this research was to evaluate the applicability of the MWMS in a different and relatively new type of work, namely on online gig work. A sample of workers on the Clickworker.com platform (N=542) voluntarily answered the questionnaire. The result shows that, while most subscales are applicable in this context, the Introjected regulation subscale might need some adjustment for online work environments.

This article examines the practices present in two firms as part of a group in Romania, with a focus on their impact from employees' perspective. The study employs a mixed research approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to gain a comprehensive understanding of the development and evaluation practices in the organization. The research findings reveal the effectiveness of onboarding programs in providing essential information to new employees, while mentoring programs require improvement. The evaluation process consists of 360-degree assessments and objective setting, but some employees perceive subjectivity and incomplete coverage of relevant elements.

Objective: To define, identify and evaluate socially responsible innovations of municipal waste management in the city.Research Design & Methods: Socially responsible innovations were considered a condition and an opportunity to achieve municipal waste management goals and standards in cities. These include solutions that ensure a legally regulated, economically justified and socially acceptable hierarchy of waste management and, as a result, closing the material cycles in this economy. The theoretical background covers definitions of socially responsible innovations and the development of goals and standards in municipal waste management. The empirical basis comprises unpublished data on municipal waste management from a company working in Krakow and reports produced by the Mayor’s Office of the City of Krakow on the implementation of tasks in municipal waste management. Econometric (regression) and statistical methods for studying the dynamics of changes and the structure of the categories examined were used.Findings: In the period under consideration, the Municipality of Krakow achieved the legally required levels of recycling and preparation for reuse and recovery of some fractions of municipal waste. The income of the municipal waste management system per capita has a positive and statistically significant impact on the levels of preparation for reuse, recycling and recovery that were achieved.Implications / Recommendations: Innovative organisation and management as well as innovative methods of waste segregation and collection ensure that the goals and standards in municipal waste management will continue to be achieved.Contribution: The article contributes new knowledge on improving the productivity and efficiency of municipal waste management, the use and implementation of the “polluter pays” principle and improving the effectiveness of integrated municipal waste management systems.

Analysis of Strategy Selection for Social Leading Enterprise Partners in Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

The social entrepreneurship ecosystem is an innovation system composed of multiple stakeholders, linked by social responsibility, based on cooperation and symbiosis, and aimed at resource complementarity. In this system, social leading enterprises serve as the core force, and the optimization of their partners is crucial for the stability and development of the entire system. This article aims to explore the optimization selection methods of social leading enterprise partners in the social entrepreneurship ecosystem, in order to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem. This article takes the entrepreneurial ecosystem as the background to explore the growth process and self-organizing evolution mechanism of social enterprises. Based on the social enterprise growth model, this paper analyzes the different stages of social enterprise growth in entrepreneurial ecosystems to varying degrees, proposes a self-organizing evolution model, and proves that the selection of social enterprise partners in entrepreneurial ecosystems has an impact on the self-organizing evolution of social enterprises. It has the characteristics of self-renewal, self adaptation, self catalysis, and self circulation. Research has shown that only through continuous exploration and bold innovation, a favorable external environment, and the benign interaction of various elements within the system can a sustainable and relatively mature social entrepreneurship ecosystem be constructed.

Współpraca międzysektorowa jako czynnik przewagi konkurencyjnej małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw

The article deals with the cooperation undertaken by enterprises on building their competitive advantages within all three sectors of the economy, i.e., the public, private and non-governmental sectors. The article aims to identify and assess the impact of cooperation undertaken by small and medium-sized enterprises with entities from the three main sectors of the economy on achieving competitive market advantages. Thus, the author attempts to answer whether the cooperation undertaken by small and medium-sized enterprises with entities from the public, private and non-governmental sectors has a tangible impact on the qualitative and price-wise competitive advantages they achieve on the market. The implementation of the assumed goal was based on the results of a survey conducted using the CAPI technique among 1286 enterprises of the SME sector in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Region. The empirical and analytical results do not indicate any relationship between cooperation with any entities belonging to the three sectors of the economy and obtaining qualitative and price-wise competitive advantages on the market.

„Natura(lnie) w Zabrzu” – dobre ekopraktyki projektowe

The “Natura(lnie) in Zabrze” – an environmental project – is a response to the deepening climate crisis and still developing environmental education at schools. Led by four teachers from Zabrze, the project blends interdisciplinary and inclusive education, shapes active pro-social attitudes and gives participants a sense of empowerment. The project initiatives include cooperation between schools as well as city institutions and scientific centers, thanks to which the project is gaining more and more publicity. The activities undertaken make it possible to expand knowledge of ecological and climate problems and develop pro-environmental habits. The article presents practical methodological and didactic solutions, which the organisers use within the framework of the project “Natura(lnie) in Zabrze”.

Reformski proces uvođenja licenciranja direktora Osnovnih i Srednjih škola

To improve the quality of pre-university education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is necessary to start a reform process aimed at increasing the competence of school principals. In accordance with the practice implemented in most countries of the region and many countries of the European Union, it is necessary to introduce the licensing of principals of primary and secondary schools. The paper provides a brief overview of the names of the modules in the training programs and the duration of the training after which school principals are licensed in the countries of the region, as well as the activities carried out in Bosnia and Herzegovina that preceded the introduction of principal licensing in the field of primary and secondary education. It is stated in the paper that the current regulatory changes should enable the licensing of principals of primary and secondary schools. Recommendations were given for adopting the occupational standards of school principals, as well as all the other steps that need to be taken. By implementing the process of licensing for school principals, the state would receive a significant resource of highly educated staff who have acquired competencies through an interdisciplinary training program for the management of primary and secondary schools.

This study explores how to achieve innovative behavior in Indonesian SMEs in the culinary and craft sectors. We conducted a literature review and collected data from 372 SME owners. Using SEM analysis, we found that a supportive climate positively impacts both potential and realized absorptive capacity, which in turn positively impacts innovative behavior. The study’s findings contribute to social exchange theory and have implications for SME sector organizations. Limitations include the data collection method, sample size and selection, research objective, cross-sectional design, and self-reported data. Future research could address these limitations and investigate other organizational factors that may influence innovative behavior in SMEs

Impact of Management Support on Business Intelligence Adoption: Illustrative Case Study Testing Different Managerial Strategies

Business intelligence (BI) is a crucial tool for organizations to gain a competitive advantage on the market. BI encompasses collection, analysis and utilization of data to enhance decision-making and drive organizational innovation. The system quality or management support most often influences the success of BI projects. The present article aims to verify the importance of management support in implementing BI solutions. The research was conducted in a global shipping company. The research is based on an illustrative case study in which four managerial tactics were tested. A different form of managerial support was applied to the four newly introduced reports provided by BI tools. The results confirm the importance of management support but also show the impact of other factors influencing user behaviour. Keeping the possibility of using the original data sources played a significant role. Thus, the habit effect manifested itself, as it strongly accompanies all efforts for process changes. So far, business intelligence tools are becoming a part of decision-making processes on an operational basis, but management support is still essential at all job levels.
