Differences in range of implementation of process management solutions in dependence on organization's size are the subject of this work. Empirical researches were conducted on the representative group of workers of enterprises from the West-Pomeranian and Lubuskie Voivodeship. The analyses were conducted beyond general approach also in selected groups of enterprises (selected by organization's size) in following areas: range of used documentation of process in organizations, conformity of organization management systems with standards of chosen forms of ISO along with analysis of certification plans and implementation of further standards of conformity, degree of use in company integrated IT solutions which support management of processes along with analysis of plans within this scope.

Zróżnicowanie wydatków na towary i usługi konsumpcyjne w Polsce w zależności od wielkości gospodarstwa domowego

In the article the variation of expenditures per capita between households of different sizes was estimated for each group of consumer goods and services. For this purpose the classical coefficient of intergroup variation was used as the appropriate measure. The calculations were done separately for seven consecutive years from 2006 to 2012. As the result of the study those consumer goods and services were defined: 1) which are characterized by a constant and relatively high variability of expenditure; 2) which are characterized by a constant and moderate variability of expenditure; 3) which are characterized by a constant and relatively low volatility of expenditure. In the case of each of the completed research tasks the intergroup coefficient of variation computed all consumer goods and services together was the base for essential comparisons

Wiedza i kooperacja w procesie zarządzania działalnością B + R

The article shows a connection between knowledge and R&D activity in the enterprises. It is a must for all companies, which are willing to survive on the competitive market to take into consideration a knowledge management. It is especially R&D activity, which is based on creating and managing of new knowledge. Linking R&D activities to the knowledge is no doubt. For it is associated primarily with the creation, acquisition and processing of new knowledge. Research and development therefore requires companies to not only maintain a highly qualified staff, but also entering into relations with other parties, which are willing to share their knowledge or technology. The article raises the issue of the level of training of employees in companies incurring expenditure on R&D. The main problem of the research is therefore to investigate the level of training of employees, and more specifically the level of employees' qualifications fit the present and future needs of the organization. The main purpose is to determine the impact of level of training of the employees on innovative activity. The survey was conducted in 2011 on a group of 729 industrial enterprises of the West Pomeranian voivodeship, of which 255 enterprises have declared incurring expenditure on R&D. Methodical analysis was based on the theory of probability.

The article presents an example of achieving the objectives of the current medium-term development strategy of the country. The activities mentioned in the article concern developing standards of social assistance's services. It is assumed that high quality services are going to be guaranteed by the implementation of standards of their execution as well as by application of the model of work and service's organization in units of social assistance (i.e. county family support centers). The medium-term development strategy of the country assumes that public services should be an answer to the opinions and needs of local community. A helpful tool in this process is the knowledge that comes from monitoring and evaluation of public services. Furthermore, the strategy assumes taking actions that are going to increase the efficiency of social services.

Article has two goals. The first is the characteristics of temporal and spatial construction of implemented projects. The other one is to try to seek answers to the question do exist a specific regularities connecting construction time the tallest skyscrapers with the economic development cycles of countries in which they arise. Do is true correlation between the records of skyscrapers and periods of slowdown or even collapse of the growth economies? The motive of adoption of this theme is the fact that such a relationship is suggested in a number of serious economic analysis. Although these hypotheses have rather character of popular science than exactly quantified empirically knowledge, you cannot refuse them attractive which captivates a number of economic analysts inclusive with reports of major investment banks.

Kapitał społeczny mieszkańców Małopolski na przykładzie lokalnych organizacji społecznych

The article concerns social capital and its impact on regional development. Appropriate recognition of the needs of local community organizations is essential to create a cooperation policy of residents and local government units. Local organization management policy will be the final result of a project conducted by the author of the article. In the empirical part of the article presents the results of a pilot survey of 140 residents of small towns or villages located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The results of the study clearly show that residents perceive the relationship between grassroots initiatives and the development of the region. Respondents describe the organizations in which they operate and their motivations to act. They also express an opinion on the reasons for the lack of involvement of other people in the work for the local community

The purpose of this paper is to present the essence of the consolidated financial statement in local government units and the proposed directions of change. At the turn of the last accounting units of local government largely approached the accounting commercial entities. The financial statements prepared by local government units, are based on the reporting of commercial entities. Local government units draw only one element of the consolidated financial statements, which is the balance sheet. It is a basic element of the financial statement, which present property of entity and sources of financing it. However, for a complete picture of the local government unit as a whole lacks the other elements, such as profit and loss account, statement of changes in fund units.
