The lack of a horizon materialized in strategies of long-term macro-development, doubled by the inconsistency and incoherence of the monetary and fiscal policies, generally leads to the perpetuation of unbalances at macroeconomic level. Under these circumstances, measures of adequate macroeconomic management are required, and the use of statistic instruments is essential for the development of models of action based on a correlative approach of such phenomenon as the rate of inflation and the evolution of the GDP.

This paper attempts to describe the national and social processes around housing in the Knin area after the end of the 1991–1995 war by revealing the changing relationships of the Serbs who remained, Croatian returnees, Croatians settlers, and Serbian returnees to their houses and property. It tries to reflect the ways in which war and post-war conditions built a frame for the upcoming relevance of nationality for access rights to houses on the one hand, and for the changing economic, social, and emotional relations of owners and users to the houses or apartments on the other. It also shows how the changing relations to the house and home influenced, and were influenced by, the decisions and strategies of people to stay in the region, to return to the region or to settle in the region.

This paper aims at proving that interlinguistic equivalence depends in a direct ratio on cultural translatability and/or untranslatability and that the latter is not a matter of “spots" or "stumbling blocks”, but a diffuse category, present throughout the text and a reflection of group mentality. Therefore, even things taken for granted could represent problems in translation if one ignores the cultural load of each and every word, on the one hand, as well as the fact that translation is a constant negotiation between source- and target-language and culture.

Nowadays, the role of human potential in the process of business goals achieving and tasks fulfilment is paid more attention than ever before. The employees become a very important internal source of competitiveness and tool of business performance increasing that develops the need for their effective encouraging and managing towards business goals reaching at the same time. The structure of enterprise is not created only by individual employees but also by in-plant units or collectives that are created by their clustering. That is why a group of material stimulation tools has a particular place in business practice. The main task of these tools is to ensure harmonization of company `s goals with the goals of its in–plant departments and by the medium of them with the needs of particular employees. The article deals with the problems of intradepartmental material stimulation and its tools at the level of in-plant organizational units, respectively working teams in consideration of their particularity in business practice application. The paper presents the results of own research in the area of intradepartmental material stimulation conducted by using of query method, in the form of enquiries and structured interviews with representatives of chosen enterprises.

The study of the necropoles represents one of the essential sources for the historical knowledge. There cannot be marked very exactly the areas of the five ancient Tomis necropoles arranged around the city, from the North side, to the West and to the South. The tombs were grouped mostly along the roads going to Histria (approximately the present Mamaia boulevard), to the Danube (approximately Tomis boulevard) and to Callatis (approximately Ferdinand and 1 Mai boulevards). As regarding the types of tombs from the Tomitan Roman epoch necropolis, we can speak about the coexistence of two main funerary rites, incineration and inhumation. We can affirm that the situation of the Tomitan necropoles is still under debate, the archaeological researches which are still under development can bring important answers and even changes about their sites or can bring new data about the rite and the funerary ritual of our city ancient inhabitants.

The author presents aspects related to the religious life of the city of Tulcea, with a special view of the “Buna Vestire” (Annunciation) Church. The church built by the Hellenic community celebrated 160 years of existence in 2014. On this occasion, the parish priest of the “Buna Vestire” Church, Father Daniel Petre, penned and published the book titled Biserica Buna Vestire – Tulcea – File de cronică [Annunciation Church of Tulcea – Pages of Chronicle]. On the same occasion, a medal was issued and gifted to the local authorities who attended the event. The medal was also included in the numismatic collections of several museums (History and Archaeology Museum of Tulcea, Romanian Marine Museum of Constanța, National History and Archaeology Museum of Constanța, History Museum of Galați).

This paper considers the public expenditures in the Republic of Macedonia, especially the capital expenditures and their structure in the period from 2005 – 2013. The analysis identifies and explains their effects on economic growth in the country. Most of the public expenditures in the Republic of Macedonia consist of current expenditures, transfers, purchase of goods and services, while the share of capital expenditures is low. There is a trend of slight increase of capital expenditures but they are mostly financed through borrowing, which decreases their impact on the economic growth. The analysis indicated that the reform of the public expenditure structure in the country is necessary, as the public expenditures grow slower compared to GDP growth. The reforming measures should aim to increasing the capital expenditures, especially those that refer to investments that drive economic growth.

The purpose of this study is to test the effect of store atmosphere variables on purchasing decisions. This study is conducted by using quantitative approach. The population is 37 cafe in Banda Aceh. Cluster sampling is used in this study, so the number of samples is determined as many as 100 respondents. This research also obtains some data from journals and books as the secondary data. Simple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the data. The result shows that store atmosphere variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decision of consumers. It means that store atmosphere has an important role to influence consumers decision. It is proved by regression coefficients store atmosphere from the results of the t test which is amount to 6.973 greater than t table which is equal to 1.984. In conclusion, the store atmosphere thatbuild a comfortable situation for the consumers, can increase the purchase decision of them.

This article examines the peculiarities of application regarding the social customer-oriented technologies in the modern Ukrainian society which are exemplified by the tourist enterprises.The specifics of the study are based on the definition of values measuring the customer orientation of the enterprise. The basic elements are defined on the analysis of the application and the methods comprising social customer orientation by tourist enterprises: values and behavioral practices of employee, business processes, and strategic business orientation.The results of empirical research provide an assessment of the compliance respecting the ideas of managers and customers within tourist enterprises regarding the most important social customer-oriented technologies.

The paper deals with the way source-in-target metonymy and target-in-source metonymy are used in text on international affairs. In such texts, the notion in the source domain is typically a toponym, but there are cases in which the source can be an ethnonym derived from a toponym. With target-in-source metonymies, the source domain stands for a target sub-domain. With source-in-target metonymies, a source sub-domain stands for a target domain. Both types of metonymy are unidirectional, as the target concept activated by the source concept does not in its turn activate the source concept in the same text. The study traces the way those types of metonymy are exploited in the media and studies the similarities and differences in their use in Bulgarian and English language texts.

The author reflects upon her experience of exploratory fieldwork conducted by an interdisciplinary group during the Urban Summer School. The research was conducted within an environment built according to the idea of “Open Form”, introduced by architect Oskar Hansen. Together with his wife Zofia, he designed a few neighborhoods around Poland, one of which – the Juliusz Słowacki housing estate in Lublin – is used as a case study for this paper. The article follows the process of collaborative development of research design and discusses a number of methods (focused ethnography, interviews, mental mapping, observation, participatory photography) applied to the study of materiality and social functioning of balconies as “threshold spaces” and their domestication. The author also outlines her positions in relation to both the local people with whom she has conducted interviews about their homes and the participants of her group.

The knowledge base is represented by multiple ontologies which are describing cultural-historical heritage of Bulgaria and are based on CCO standard.

This paper is a review article that is basically the tropicalization of strategies and recommendations for design and durability in planning building projects. This document is based on tropicalization life strategies that are based on the review and analysis of the LEED® Canadian version model, which includes several technical recommendations to improve the durability of buildings and their components. We conclude that the guidelines of tropicalization in countries such as Canada to countries such as Mexico will depend on its direct application in the design and construction processes with special attention to issues such as climate, building systems, quality of materials and workmanship of the construction.
