Storyline method is create an environment by children using new information, old information and experience as well as gaining new knowledge and being active in this process, produce solutions to the problems. This study is a combined method in which qualitative and quantitive technics are used in company. 48-66 months old children, who are attending pre-school education in learning numbers, geometric shapes and pattern notion, the effect of storyline method are analyzed by the process pre-test, post-test semi experimental method and applications the qualititive section of the study was observed by observing the experimental group. In the research, children are aiming at learning levels of concepts related to numbers, Piaget number conservation test, geometric shape concepts, aimed at learning levels. The pattern test developed by the researcher was developed to measure the level of learning the geometric patterns developed by Aslan (2004) and the concept of pattern. As well as observation made during weekly activities conducted by the experiment group by the researcher were recorded in diary. The study was conducted with a total of 27 students. While the control group students were being trained with were being trained with the current program, the students in the experimental group received mathematics education prepared with a one day scarecard per week for 8 weeks. A mai értelemben vett óvodák hosszú történelmi fejlődés eredményei.

This paper presents the results of two sentence–picture matching experiments investigating how Hungarian preschoolers interpret doubly quantified sentences involving numerical quantifiers. We claim that for Hungarian children, scope interpretation is primarily determined by the structure of the visual representation of the event associated with the given sentence. We found in a series of previous experiments that children’s preferred scope order cannot be derived from either the linear order of quantifiers, or from any other linguistic factor, but seems to be affected by visual cues provided by the picture stimuli. In this follow-up study, we tested two hypotheses, namely: (i) children assign wide scope to the set whose elements are more salient in the visual representation; (ii) children choose the scope interpretation whose visual representation is easier to chunk into identical subevents. The results confirm hypothesis (ii). This converges with the results of former experiments testing children’s interpretation of every and each, according to which children use these quantifiers to quantify over events rather than individuals (cf. Philip 1995, etc.).

Among some of the instruments there were: an educational style scale, a flexibility test and an observational list with multiple-choice answers. The sample involved with 44 preschool children, their parents and 5 teachers in preschools. Nowadays opinions on play at preschool are very controversial. If we raise the question whether teachers provide enough opportunities for play we can answer yes without hesitation: never before has been seen such a wide range of toys in preschools as nowadays. But if we consider children’s everyday play and their interaction in play, the situation is not that simple, especially not in terms of play in the family at home.

Children’s poetry of the pre-Zmaj period does not occupy an important place today in the histories of children’s literature, anthologies of children’s poetry and primary school curricula. This paper illustrates that a more explicit didacticity of the pre-Zmaj poetry could help its revitalization and therefore analyzes the linguistic and stylistic means which are used to send a message to the reader (among them stylistically neutral means but also some stylistic operations and certain stylistic principles). The aim of this analysis is the identification of mechanisms which contribute to the educational value of the text and open up the doors of the educational process. The result of the inclusion of such directed interpretation in the classroom should be early awareness of ideological aspects of the written text and the awakening of a more critical relationship towards it.

Considerations around the school education of six-years old children on the background of questions about the barriers blocking solution difficult as it turns out, the problem of the future of man and society. There are many reasons why we still do not find a solution to the needs of man in twenty-first century. This paper is an attempt to analyse the different forms of fear adults with children: against inequality, imperfection, against various existential difficulties, against the threat of loss of childhood. Fears of this type are revealed in conversations, argumentations performed on a stage play about the future of education, behind the scenes and are transferred uncritically to reality as its hoaxes, creating the appearance of serious debate.

As the title of this paper says, the paper deals with the research of early English language learning with the assistance of information technologies in five elementary schools in Osijek. Nevertheless, it is well known that nowadays it is impossible to do any kind of job either without being able to use a computer, or speak English. English language has been used as a main language of international communication for a long time, and as such, it has been the obligatory foreign language in schools. However, as regards to its importance, a long time ago it became inevitable to introduce English language learning even in kindergartens, and due to the fact that today’s generations of children start using a computer from the early age, the computer serves as a good tool in learning in general sense, i.e. in English language learning. Hence, due to certain restrictions, it is not possible to satisfy the need for the use of computers in the process of education, which is also confirmed by the research conducted in this paper.
