The preschool education system in Russia is changing significantly in terms of content and organization. Management activities of the director are determined by the requirements of new law “About the Education in the Russian Federation”, the Federal State educational standard for preschool education, and the requirements of the professional standards of teachers in preschool education. The modern manager must know the basis of the management activities; organize the work of the preschool in accordance with its laws. Management efficiency depends on the degree of qualification of the leader in the field of management and on the success of the methodical work with teachers as subjects of teaching. The modernization of preschool educational institutions, the increase of their autonomy level requires new approaches to the management of kindergartens.

The article presents the training course “Food on Canvas”, which addresses several fields of education and training – Culinary Arts, Art History, English, Health education along with some elements of Museum education and focuses on the course curriculum as well as some the teaching resources including online course. The course offers open educational resources, which are flexible e-learning paths suited for both autonomous and teacher facilitated learning. The idea of the course is to promote teaching Culinary Arts in the Visual Arts Historical and Cultural Context, to perfect English speaking skills by involving our students into various activities related to arts, food consumption and the language acquisition. We want our students to be aware that getting in the habit of being productive in all aspects of their lives will dictate the quality of their lives. The course consists of various activities – lectures, tutorials, master classes, small projects, independent tasks and educational trips to museums.

In our teaching practice we are often in a situation of being satisfied from telling excellently a specific topic, exercising basics concepts enough, making a step in a deeper water or putting a homework through which confirms the general picture that everything is understood and absorbed right. ...until we assume that we are wrong in our assessment, not because we are not objective about ourselves, but because we are subjective to the other side – the student’s one.

The author presents the results of a study that measures the attitudes of students towards cultural institutes – Art Gallery and Museum. Four classes are questioned – two classes of students from elementary school in Sheffield, England (Stradbroke School – Sheffield, UK) and two classes from “Ivan Vazov” Elementary School in Ruse, Bulgaria. The preferences of students to visit the museum or gallery in the company of peers, teachers or parents are measured. Guide lines on developing new attitude towards cultural institutes for turning them in a favorite intellectual, emotional and spiritual space are given.

Reflections on the nature and logic of the indicator average grade, calculated as an arithmetic mean, are presented. Certain issues are concerned - on one hand with the process of measurement and formation of the grades, and on the other - with the factors for the use of the arithmetic mean from the viewpoint of statistical methodology, calling into question the logical substance of the average arithmetic grade, particularly when it is used for comparisons.

The ontological representation of competence knowledge about various specialties (from national qualifications frameworks) for their efficient matching and retrieval for the purpose of the European and National Qualifications Frameworks transparency is represented. The structure of atomic competencies is formalized by ontology that can be automatically built by semantically marked Web resources from the Semantic Media Wiki environment. Computer ontologies and methods of their use to ensure the transparency of the European and National Qualification Frameworks are suggested.

The present paper is devoted to analysis of computer simulators efficiency in terms of graduates’ adaptation at oil and gas refineries. The experience of such modeling system implementation shows that through the use of a computer simulator based on interactive simulation system we can reach high levels of enterprise employees professionalism in a short time. This, in turn, reduces the risk of abnormal and emergency situations and can finally reduce the cost of production. It will also be possible to increase the fault tolerance of the equipment by reducing the influence of the human factor and clarify regulatory requirements for the installation, including the start, emergency stop, and regular and emergency situations.

In this work, the stability of a bicyclic high-energy-density fuel, RJ-5 (C14H18), has been inspected. The tendency of RJ-5 jet fuel to form hydroperoxide structure under storage conditions has been examined. The negative ∆Gorxn values showed that oxidation of fuel through hydroperoxidation is a spontaneous process. It was shown that the bridgehead carbon atoms and the carbon atoms that link the norbornane structure with the other ring system are the vulnerable centers to hydroperoxidation because the corresponding hydroperoxides are quite low in total electronic energies. The thermodynamic calculations showed that these hydroperoxide structures may rearrange themselves to minimize their energy forming different molecules. These rearranged molecules have been identified using rearrangement mechanism in the literature. The probable rearrangement products were determined and confirmed by thermodynamic calculations. The heat of combustion values of RJ-5, hydroperoxides and rearrangement products of hydroperoxides have been calculated using T1 heat of formation data. The results showed that the formation of hydroperoxide molecules under storage conditions worsens the performance of RJ-5 jet fuel.

The main principles for the selection of fingering when performing music accordion pieces are presented. An emphasis is placed on the advantages of fingering “Liszt – Busoni”, which is up to now completely neglected in Bulgarian accordion methodology – it is absent from the printed music, it is not included in the training manuals, it is not the focus of attention in the theoretical methodological works and is not applied in the practice of performance in our country. Some of the most important factors that affect fingering, the fingering specific features in the performance of monophonic and polyphonic texture, as well as characteristics associated with differences in the structure of the right and left manual on accordion are covered in short. The briefly presented principles and technological guidelines are derived from the theoretical and practical teaching and performing experience – both personal and that of others.

Imperfect practice from the past is making the music notes literacy and the technical mastering of the instrument into an end in itself in the musical and pedagogical work of teachers, while the musical and hearing development of the children, and the emotional experience of the musical piece of art remains in the background. In this way many talented children are diverted from music and from mastering a musical instrument. Based on the curriculum of musical instrument and solfeggio for the children from the preparatory group I focus my pedagogical work on the implementation of my goal as an explorer, i.e. the musical and hearing education being the first step of musical literacy. This I achieve through organizing the following specific activities and approaches, presented in their sequence. All concepts and terms in music are learned through games and the implementation of game approaches. The introduction of the musical literacy thus opens the opportunity to write the notes of songs known by the children, while later on reading of unknown note text. The achieved results demonstrate a quality positive leap in the competence of all children included in this education, as well as professional satisfaction in the teachers.

This research aims to examine the effect of problem solving instruction on mathematical thinking. The participants of the study include 213 university students (prospective teachers). The participants were required to answer 10 problems before they took “Mathematics Teaching” and “Irregular Problem Solving” courses. After the students successfully completed these courses they were required to answer 10 similar problems. During the data analysis t-test for related sampling and t-test for unrelated sampling were used. The difference in problem solving techniques has also been examined in terms of gender. The study findings show that the courses that the participants took resulted in mathematical thinking changes. The prospective teachers in the study learned the irregular problem solving techniques and successfully applied them in problem solving.
