The decision taken by the foreign ministry, back in 2006, to implement a project entitled Process, Economic, Organizational, Functional, Personnel, and Information Audit and the Establishment of the System for Continually Improving the Effectiveness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, which later became known as TREFA (TRvalá Efektivita Riadenia – Continual Effectiveness of Management), unambiguously proved to be correct and strategically far-sighted. The development of international and domestic factors, impacting on the performance, outreach, and effectiveness of the foreign service confirmed that it was high time to implement systemic measures aimed at substantially modernizing the processes of management, planning, and support, thereby increasing the foreign ministry’s effectiveness and the quality of the management system and work organization. The globalization processes of the 21st century are fundamentally transforming the conditions of Slovakia’s interaction with other countries and cultures as well as the promotion of our interests in the international arena. In the global world diplomacy is expected to also be capable of maneuvering in the environment of many informal and non-governmental structures which supersede national borders. Since diplomacy is becoming a management tool for the regulation of globalization processes in favor of national interests it must be modernized to be prepared to respond even more flexibly to new trends and events. However the modernization of management is a challenge not only for the Foreign Service but also for the entire public sector. Today all elements of public administration are more and more confronted by the pressure to improve their performance and effectiveness.

The report's objects of analysis is the traditional (classical or hybrid) organizational structures.The report’s objects of analysis is the traditional (classical and hybrid) organizational structures. The focus is on the evolution and transformation of organizational models in a high uncertainty environment.The functional, the divisional, the design-matrix structures and the new network organizational forms has been explored. The conclusion is that in a turbulent VUCA environment andconstant pressure for change it is impossible to achieve a competitive advantage in a static organizational structure. The main characteristics, respectively the strengths and weaknesses of the functional, the divisional, the matrix and the network structure, are analyzed based on seven key criteria – the efficiency, adaptability, timeliness, reliability, accountability, adequate external environment and strategy. The research models synthesize different solutions applied in social practice. The organizational form does not guarantee high results at any cost, but it is a necessary means to ensure the realization of strategic corporate goals, to shape cultural attitudes, the motivation process, the rational use of resources, and the adequacy of change. The main thesis of the author is that in terms of specific research and applications of the organizational structure, there are processes of evolution of concepts and a reassessment of common accepted truths and accumulated knowledge.

Studies on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex and other sexuality (LGBTI+) issues mostly adopt an individual level of analysis that covers discrimination, violence, voice and visibility (Rumens, 2016; McPhail et al., 2016; Yılmaz and Gocmen, 2016; Wright, 2015; Ozturk, 2011; Colgan et al., 2007). For this reason, mainstream research focuses on reporting individual experiences, through a critical and emancipatory paradigm. Yet the mainstream research surprisingly neglects the role of LGBTI+ organisations in protecting and fighting against the individual challenges that LGBTI+ individuals face in both organisations and society. In this chapter, we fill this void by exploring the often underplayed meso level of LGBTI+ issues, i.e. LGBTI+ organisations in their international, national and institutional settings. In particular, we examine the aims of the LGBTI+ organisations, in their particular context.

The appropriate organizational design (plan) is an important factor in achieving optimum use of the resources of the organization, and to achieve the objectives. Organizational design involves dividing the working activities of the organization in certain areas and connecting and coordinating these areas forming a unified whole. The manner in which this is done will affect the nature of the Manager, as the responsibility he or she has a number of people to match the number of management levels within the organization and so on. In return, depending on whether the structure of the organization helps or hinders managers is an impact on the success of the organization. Also, this will affect the wider society, whether the organization is private or public sector or not, or profitable or unprofitable. This paper will process issues that influence and form the structure of the organization and will consider configurations that organizations have traditionally adopted. Will indicate how organizations in their needs to get the best "alignment" between their structure and environment in which operate, how to adopt new approaches to the structure and will also discuss the forms that they receive.

The mutual actions are basically simple and well understood, which also exceeded the subtlety and uncertainty in the realization of the desired goals and strategies for quality economic growth and development of all participants , where each process of interactive marketing basically sets or develops numerous steps that can obtain optimal results. The conceptual foundations of this paper are basically focused on the project for quality marketing management , applying the organizational theory and practice which is constantly changing and evolving as a result of the integration processes in the global market where organizations can quickly adapt to the challenges related to time and environmental requirements. Interactive marketing, studied through vertical and horizontal complexity, points out that the use of information demands stability, especially when making important decisions, mostly by the managers for the purpose of developing the company and its image in the future. This type of research and interactivity maintenance enables continuous improvement in the market which will be in accordance with the requirements of the economy and the system as a whole.

Sytuacja mieszkaniowa Polaków i działania organów publicznych w celu jej poprawy

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to assess the housing situation of Poles and to present activities of public entities, especially communes, undertaken to improve it. Design/methodology/approach: Secondary data was presented showing the number and ownership structure of dwellings and the demand for dwellings in Poland. The data comes from the Central Statistical Office and the Ministry of Development. The previous activity of municipalities in developing the local housing marketis also discussed and the concept of social housing initiatives is characterized. Findings: Despite the record number of housing units completed in recent years, there is still a shortage of housing units, which negatively affects the socio-economic development of the state. The main barrier to access to housing is its priceand the high growth rate of 1 m2 of space. Municipalities could more actively answer the housing needs of citizens by creating social housing initiatives, i.e. not for profit companies building rental housing with moderate rent. riginality and value: State housing policy has been questioned. The provision of own contribution by the state for certain social groups may lead to an increase in real estate prices, because with their limited supply the demand for these apartments and the price of 1 m2 of space rises. It is postulated to increase the activity of municipalities in the housing market. This may consist in creating social housing initiatives, i.e. not for profit companies building apartments for rent with moderate rent (lower even by 50% in relation to the market rent).

The cognitive goal of the article is to systematize the knowledge of supply chain finance (SCF) management in the context of contemporary trends and challenges in logistics. According to the authors, there is a need to draw attention to and organize knowledge in the field of combining supply chain finance with modern solutions such as blockchain technology or sustainable finance. As a part of the implementation of the goal, it was necessary to critically evaluate the current literature on SCF and current trends affecting the development of the SCF concept, as well as to formulate the potential effects of SCF management in the enterprise. Contemporary logistics companies are a set of functionally diversified business entities, the essence of which is focused on the provision of physical availability to various resources in the following dimensions: time, space and efficiency, assistance in forecasting and planning activities, and ensuring fast and effective information flow in business units, etc. Regardless of whether they are considered in the context of small or medium-sized shipping and transport enterprises, warehouse centers, or specialized logistics operators, the main purpose of their operation on the capital market is to strive to ensure the continuity of existence and maximize economic benefits for their owners. (stakeholders). The results of its operation, which are reflected in the financial result of a logistics company, as well as the analysed methods and tools for their implementation, constitute the main subject of comments, judgments and assessments formulated by various groups of stakeholders of this unit. Among the management staff, it may be tempting to intentionally shape the reported level of profit (loss) and to present the financial achievements of the entity “in a better light” in the eyes of interested persons. The main goal of the article is to show the degree and directions of accounting and material profit management in logistics companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Empirical research was carried out among those public companies whose shares were traded for at least ten years in the 2007–2018 horizon. An additional criterion for selecting enterprises for research was the availability of annual separate financial statements.

Polski Ład z perspektywy audytora wewnętrznego

Purpose: Identification and characterization of the risks whose main factor is Polish Deal. The risks are considered from the perspective of the employer, regardless of its organizational and legalform, in terms of personal income tax. Design/methodology/approach: A literature survey of peer-reviewed journal articles, survey reports and books on risk management and internal audit is used as the research methodology. Legal acts were also analysed. Findings: Polish Deal is the implementation of government policy and from the point ofview of risk analysis is the materialization of political risk. It required changes in legislation, which in turn triggered the need for organizations to take action to adapt to the modified legal requirements. Political risk resulted in the materialization of legislative risk. Legislative risk associated with the Polish Order, in turn, is associated with the emergence of eight categories of risks at the operational level of the organization: tax risk, legal risk, HR risk, technology risk, communication risk along with image risk, and two multidimensional risks – organizational riskand financial risk.
