Digitalization of trade and quality assurance of the goods offered are elements that are related to the global sustainable development strategy. The purpose of the study is to systematize the diversity of approaches in assessing the quality of goods and its perception by consumers in a comparative analysis of real and online purchases. The analytical descriptive method is applied. Consumer satisfaction is a major factor in 694 product quality assurance. The results show that the level of satisfaction with digital consumption is one of the essential elements for improving the quality of goods offered.

ЗА ЕДИН ТИП ТЕМАТИЧНА СТРУКТУРА „ЗИГ-ЗАГ“ В РАЗГОВОРА ПОСРЕДСТВОМ VOIP ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕТО VIBER

In large number of social media and mobile applications, a new hybrid oral-writing formation is emerging, which is called from linguists written spoken speech with similar features to both written and oral speech, but also having its own distinctive features. This study will illustrate the thematic structure of a conversation using the VoIP application Viber to highlight the most common model of a zig-zag themed organization and its specifics. The results of the analysis show that in the fragmented arrangement of the topics, in the frequent insertion of new topics, the conversation through Viber is closer to the oral conversation. The zig-zag thematic structuring model is so widespread that the application provided a technological tool to "recall" an earlier cue, which was replied with a delay as new topics came into the conversation. Understanding the specifics of written conversational speech optimizes real-time communication applications to eliminate or at least reduce communication noise through the Viber VoIP application.

The primary aim of this paper is to describe some of the most popular language tools used by journalists to increase the visibility of their articles online. The paper focuses on the importance of the headline in the digital journalism. Click-bait is a new term in the theory of journalism and it describes a headline which tempts the reader to click on the link and to read the whole article. Click-bait is often associated with headlines which are especially sensationalized. The paper investigates various language tools to make a headline sensationalized. The object of discourse analysis are articles about corona virus, published in some of the biggest Bulgarian information sites in the last 6 months.

The tendency towards interdisciplinarity in economics in the digital age stretches and redefines the conceptual boundaries of economic terminology. The present article discusses the phenomenon of termonological migration in the latest Russian and Bulgarian economic literature. Monotypicity of the mechanisms of migration is shown to be one of the most productive phenomena of secondary terminological nomination. The following study introduces a general observation on the typical features of the concept of internet meme as a main communication medium between social networks users in Bulgaria. The meaning of the concept meme is presented and the attention is focused particularly on the internet memes as an easy, fast and most preferred way of sharing information, ideas or any unit of cultural information. MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES: RESEARCH-LED INTEGRATED APPROACH TO DEVELOPING LANGUAGE AND BUSINESS SKILLS AT TERTIARY EDUCATION LEVEL

This paper provides a rationale for updating Business English courses at University of Economics - Varna with view of its internationalisation, digitalisation and close interaction with the business, as well as designing specialised business skills courses in English-taught majors. The emphasis is on designing courses tailored at improving global employability of students by consistently incorporating intercultural business communication skills development. Topics such as globalisation, digitalisation, working across borders present a structured opportunity for class discussion of current trends. By studying the interrelation between culture, management and business communication, the courses are enhancing skills connected with leadership, international negotiations and team management in the digital age. The expected outcome is to enhance systematically transferable skills in our students, increasing their language competence, cultural sensitivity and business intelligence. Survey results within the international HE project PROMINENCE have been taken into account in applying this integrated approach to developing language and business skills.

Periferno u globalnom? Hrvatske serije u odnosu na domicilnu i globalnu kulturu ("Novine" i "Uspjeh")

Since the 1980s, especially with the HBO rise, there has been a development of different type of TV series that are designated as the quality TV series in order to be distinguished from the regular TV series. The most important conditions for the creation of the quality TV series are explained, followed by a short resume of the development of Croatian TV series. Furthermore, the paper analyses poetics and politcs of the series The Paper (Novine) and The Success (Uspjeh), with a special attention given to a representation of (peripheral) space. In conclusion, Novine and Uspjeh are recognised as the quality TV. This term is problematized through a perspective of series’ double effect – as both economic and cultural products, with a focus on importance of global interpretive community of contemporary cultural omnivores. Making their own choices, they establish their own cultural and symbolic capital and at the same time construct global TV series canon as well as partially deconstruct dichotomy of the central and the peripheral.

UTICAJ PANDEMIJE COVID-19 NA E-TRGOVINU I POTROŠAČKE TRENDOVE

The COVID-19 pandemic changed economies and consumption worldwide. Unemployment increased, leaving consumers distressed. Increased demand for medical supplies and the phenomenon of hoarding, i.e. stocking up on essentials reflected the unease among consumers at the beginning of the epidemic.The analysis of the coronavirus impact on e-commerce and consumer trends demonstrated that the importance of the topic exceeds the time of the epidemic. The study revealed a general fear of a recession in Slovenia, as well as a lesser fear of personal consequences, such as job loss. On average, respondents stated their frequency of online shopping increased, which is in accordance with other studies outlined in this chapter. Online consumption in Slovenia during the epidemic was dependent on prior consumption behavior, which is supported by global statistics. Consumers who bought online before COVID-19 increased their consumption over the internet, while few offline shoppers switched to online.The most prominent reason for using the internet is the abundant assortment. During the epidemic, consumers focused on essentials such as food, and increased purchase in pet products, home accessories and hobby items. This is in line with the general international consumption trends and the statistics for Slovenia. COVID-19 triggered the interest of consumers to buy essentials online, especially by novices. In a post-crisis world, the time efficiency and convenience of these services may prove attractive. As the epidemic showed a trend in interne tusage to the detriment of television, future advertising should increasingly focus on social media marketing in combination with search engine optimization rather than TV commercials.Implementing these responses to consumer sentiments will help companies thrive in e-commerce beyond COVID-19.

In today’s digital age, the importance of adopting a new model of business behavior that generates real benefits for business and society is increasing. The concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) means the set of attitudes, decisions and actions of an organization that are socially oriented. When the company’s attitudes, decisions and actions match those of the society, it acquires a socially responsible image. The social responsibility of the company is valued by others and has different manifestations. It covers business commitments to society, expanding their range beyond economic functions, and including social activities as indispensable. Corporate Social Responsibility is a strategic choice for the leadership of any organization that wants to integrate better into the environment in which it operates through a responsible attitude towards society and the environment. For this reason, the active role of managers is crucial to minimize problems in society, to ensure sustainable development and an optimal environment for the functioning of the organization they manage. The process of globalization, the development of digital technologies and the increased economic growth have led the beginning of the study and exploration of corporate social responsibility (CSR) to the next level. On the other hand, globalization creates new stakeholders in the process and determines the need for constant communication with them. As a result, more than ever, companies are engaging in various socially responsible causes. And in this interconnected globalized world, the World Wide Web and the communication tools that have been created and developed based on it have changed the way people and companies inform, communicate and connect with each other. Digital tools enable companies to increase opportunities to promote their socially responsible initiatives and engage key internal and external company stakeholders – consumers, employees, shareholders and suppliers, as well as citizens and NGOs that are important to the organization. And thus, create the desired favorable image and reputation. The report summarizes the overall digital communication mechanism for promoting a socially responsible initiative and building a favorable image and reputation of the company. The purpose of the report is: to present the essence of the company’s socially responsible initiatives on the Internet and the benefits for the business; to outline the most important digital tools available to date in the arsenal of managers to build a favorable image and reputation of the company.

The study states that on a global scale, in modern conditions of development, individual countries pay special attention to pay for their security by identifying with countries with different cultural structures of society. The expression against the opposition of separate cultures with the attacks on cultural sites in different parts of our planet, which have become more frequent in the first two decades of the 21st century. One of the greatest dangers to humanity is modern terrorism within cultural sites. Directions for this type of terrorism are considered and included in the development. One direction is in connection with the spiritual culture of man. The object of such terror are the basic values of the individual. Another direction is the destruction of material movement and immovable cultural heritage. The purpose of this study is to study and analyze terrorism against cultural values as a social phenomenon and on this basis to outline the main guidelines and tools in preventing and combating this type of terrorism. A comprehensive set of measures that the world community uses to combat terrorism on cultural sites is outlined. The article describes the types and aspects of digitalization in relation to the purchase and sale of real estate: “smart sites”, chat bots, virtualization, the mechanism of remote sales. It was noted that the share and degree of digitalization is increasing in the real estate market every year, the connection between digitalization and the sale and purchase of real estate is inseparable, while the real estate market in Russia turned out to be one of the most conservative in terms of the introduction of technological innovations. In contrast to the above, the article discusses the emergence of a completely digital client path from the search for a property to a transaction and the organization of repairs in Russia since March 2021 - an open real estate ecosystem "Square Meter", with a unique innovative product "Deal Guarantee".
