The article looks at the external dimension of the EU Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). It provides a general overview of the fisheries agreements with third countries and Regional Fisheries Management Organisations and presents their economic benefits for the EU economy. The german population living in Wallachia converted to lutheranism at about the same time as the transylvanian saxons. The article presents details about the priests of Câmpulung in 17th century. Ananias was the last lutheran priest, but was ousted in 1639 in the context of the conversion of the parish by Franciscans as part of the counter-reformation. For the moment, this was the end of the lutheran presence in Wallachia, as well as of the connections between the germans from Wallachia and the transylvanian saxons. Giovanni Pierluigi Palestrina (1525-1594), one of the greatest catholic ecclesiastical composers dedicated his fifth motet-book to cardinal Andreas Báthory, nephew of the polish king Stefan and from March to November 1599 Prince of Transylvania. Andras was himeself a music lover and met Palestrina during his stay in Rome 1583/84. The dedication coincided with the diplomatic aims of the Curia to honor the polish king Stefan, one of the most fervent apologist of catholicism in Eastern Europe, by appointing his nephew cardinal.

Today, the opinion prevails that the deportation of the germans from Romania in the Soviet Union after World War II was a taboo in Romania during the whole socialist period. This is not true as the author shows analysing the first two years of the newspaper "Neuer Weg" (1949-1950), when the only german newspaper in Romania related extensively about this topic. Those returning in 1949 and what they had to report about the Soviet Union were in the centre of the coverage. Also other newspapers published between 1945 and 1949 published wrote on occasion about the deportation. All newspapers had a generally positive attitude towards the Soviet Union. Influenced by communist ideology, the homecomers were celebrated as heroes. Their work was considered as a compensation for the collaboration with nazi Germany during the war. Beyond the propagandistic aim, the positive connotation of the work in the Soviet Union was an offer of integration to the german population of Romania by the socialist state.Contains 1 picture.

Bilindiği gibi, 11 Eylül saldırıları sonucunda ABD’nin ilk hedefi, terörizme destek verdiği iddia edilen Afganistan’daki Taliban yönetimi olmustur. ABD, Afganistan odaklı bölgesel çıkarlarını hayata geçirmeye ve bu doğrultuda 2001 yılından beri bölgede süregelen istikrarsızlığı ortadan kaldırmaya çalısmaktadır. Ancak, bu bölgeye iliskin ABD’nin asması gereken birçok engel bulunmaktadır. Öncelikle, Taliban Afganistan’ın büyük bölümünde kontrolü elinde tutmakta ve Pakistan’daki etkisini de artırmaktadır. Ayrıca, ABD’nin Afganistan’a yerleserek ulasmaya çalıstığı stratejik ve ekonomik hedefleri, bölgesel rakipleri olan Rusya ve Çin ile çatısmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, tüm bu çatısan çıkarları ve Afganistan’daki dengeleri etkileme potansiyelleri ile Đran ve Pakistan’ın ön plana çıktığını belirtmek gerekmektedir. Bölgede değisen ve çatısan ulusal çıkar kapsamlı politikalar, ABD’nin Afganistan’da Taliban ile mücadelesini de olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Bu çalısmada, belirttiğimiz hususların veya olumsuzlukların ABD’yi bölgede basarısız kılabileceği savunulmaktadır.

Süreklilik bir devletin dıs politikasını belli parametreler arasında tutarak ona bir kimlik kazandırır. Sürekliliğin gerek içsel nedenlerden, gerekse de dıssal nedenlerden dolayı bir devletin dıs politikasının gereklerine cevap veremez hale gelmesiyle, değisim bir devletin dıs politika çıkarları için gereklilik halini alır. Dıs politikada değisim yapmak bir seçim olduğu kadar aynı zamanda da bir kaçınılmazlık anlamına gelir. Bir devletin dıs politikasını değisime zorlayan iç ve dıs dinamikler ne kadar baskın çıkarsa, değisim yapmak da o kadar kaçınılmaz hale gelir.
