This paper examines the development of Jewish Hebrew studies in the Czech Lands from the pre-Enlightenment to the Enlightenment period, focusing on the teaching of Hebrew language and grammar at the Main Jewish School in Prague. It introduces the life and work of Wolf Mayer, a prominent Hebrew teacher and grammarian, who authored several textbooks and commentaries on Hebrew and biblical exegesis. It analyzes Mayer's grammar book "Torat Leshon Ivrit", which was based on the works of his predecessors and contemporaries, but also introduced some innovations and modifications. It shows how Mayer applied his knowledge and experience to his pedagogical activities and his contribution to the Haskala movement and the Wissenschaft des Judentums.

In this essay, the author recalls the debates on the introduction of religious education in schools during the period 1992-1996. All discussions reminisced here took place in besieged Sarajevo. Despite the challenging circumstances, the debates exuded a free approach to the role of religious education and its treatment within the educational system. Participants in these discussions either rejected or embraced religious education. Some wanted to introduce it into schools under a different name, while others aimed to create an entirely new and “more modern” subject that would replace religious education while simultaneously fulfilling its role in education. Meanwhile, some advocated for infusing other subjects with the spirit of religious education and a positive attitude toward religion.

Stabilizacija islamske vjeronauke u školama (zakonska regulativa, pregled razvoja kurikuluma i udžbenika)

This paper offers a concise overview of significant activities by the Religious Education Service that contributed to the positioning and stabilization of Islamic religious education as an elective subject in schools from 1999 to 2013. It primarily addresses the enactment of legal regulations governing the status of religious education in the education system, followed by the development of the curriculum and textbooks for Islamic religious education. The legislative process on this matter was relatively slow, taking almost ten years from the introduction of religious education in schools to obtaining a quality legal solution at the state level. Implementation across Bosnia and Herzegovina took several more years. The adoption of legal provisions on religious education at all levels created the conditions for the development and adoption of new curricula and a new generation of textbooks. The processes were entered with significant ten years of experience in implementing religious education, which served as a solid basis for the improved quality of both the curriculum and textbooks.

Položaj islamske vjeronauke u Kantonu Sarajevo

This paper presents the status of the subject of Religious Education in Sarajevo Canton through a chronological perspective of its introduction and gradual establishment in the educational system as an elective i.e., compulsory subject, with the grade counting towards the overall success of students. Over 80% of students attend this course. Since its introduction in 1991, a constant progression is visible in the number of students, the legal status of the subject, the professional representation of teachers, as well as in the quality of instruction, textbooks, and the overall reputation of the course of Religious Education in the educational system. Religious Education achieves the set goals of religious up-bringing and education of school generations, contributing to the development of spiritually strong and emotionally stable individuals capable of further growth and constructive engagement in societal trends.

Iskustva u realizaciji nastave islamske vjeronauke u Bosni i Hercegovini od 1992. do 2002. godine

This paper aims to examine the direct experiences of teachers in delivering Islamic religious education in Bosnia and Herzegovina from its introduction and restoration and integration into the educational system, roughly from 1992 to 2002. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews from October 2022 to July 2023. A total of 13 Islamic religious educators from eight muftiyats of the BiH Islamic Community. The pa-per analyzes their responses to questions about the circumstances under which religious education was introduced into schools, their professional qualifications, challenges in teaching, conditions in the workplace, collaboration, and relation-ships with school administrations and other colleagues, the support available or unavailable to them, and interesting anecdotal events. The importance of this study is manifold, as it synthesizes the direct experiences of Islamic religious education teachers from a challenging pre-war, war, and post-war period, which yielded not only a rich heritage but also serves as a source of inspiration for other teachers and researchers interested in this subject matter.

Možnosti využívania posunkovej komunikácie v špeciálnopedagogickej praxi u jednotlivcov s mentálnym postihnutím

Signing, sign language and sign communication are primarily associated with people with hearing impairments, but it is sometimes only mentioned in passing that they are also part of alternative and augmentative communication. Throughout the world, this form of communication is being developed in theory and used in practice with other groups of children, students and adults with disabilities. This paper focuses onthe possibilities of using sign communication in special education practice with people with intellectual disabilities. The main aim is to summarise the available theoretical knowledge on the use of sign language with people with intellectual disabilities and to gain a broader perspective on the inclusion of sign language and sign communication as AAC for this group of people. The planned implementation of the AAC system, designed according to the communication needs and individual characteristics of the individuals, including signing and signing communication, can, according to the experience from abroad, contribute to better understanding, increase interest in communication and replace, complement or develop their spoken language, or, last but notleast, contribute to the elimination of negative phenomena due to lack of communication or misunderstanding.

Komparácia systému včasnej intervencie na Slovensku a v Slovinsku

The paper analyses and compares the early intervention systems in Slovenia and Slovakia, their epistemology, development, position of early intervention in the context of legislation and the current situationin the respective countries. Depending on the legal anchoring of early intervention in each country, the early intervention care itself is also determined. The results of the empirical studies show that the respondents in both countries see different advantages and disadvantages of their system. Therefore, in the application part of the paper, a comparison of the satisfaction questionnaires with the early intervention system of each country is discussed. The aim of the paper is to highlight the different ways of early intervention in Slovakia and Slovenia, to analyse and compare these differences. The aim is not to bring and adopt the early intervention system from abroad, where we can mark this system as an example of good practice, but to compare the different ways of its organisation.

Diverzita v jazykovom spracovaní

The aim of this article is to introduce Gestalt language processing - a lesser known typeof communication evelopment. At the same time, it attempts to draw attention to the diversity of language processing. At the same time, it encourages openness beyond the horizon of established standards for assessing and supporting communication skills. Special educational practice should reflect newly acquired knowledge. People who show signs of Gestalt language processing are entitled to appropriate support in all areas of special educational practice such as education, ounselling, intervention or therapy. When updating procedures, we consider it necessary to first present the basic theoretical framework of the topic being addressed. The application of theoretical principles to practice must then be based on the principle of individualisation. The article presents Gestalt language processing in the context of the Slovak language, its signs, particular development, recommended methods of support and wider context. It largely refers to a more extensive study of Gestalt language processing in connection with the Slovak language.

Each member state of North Atlantic Alliance is responsible for the quality of its human capital. Furthermore, by assuming membership status in the Alliance, it becomes accountable for the level of professionalism that it provides. Recruiting and selecting military leaders who operate professionally within NATO is one of the most relevant aspects in the contemporary security context. The pandemic context, military conflicts, and the instability of diplomatic relationships between states are some of the real-world problems that are challenging not only Military Forces but also for military higher education institutions. These institutions are addressed to equip graduates with previously unsolicited competences. The graduates must represent not only the officers of the Alliance but also the future leaders who will perform in a complex operational environment. By focusing on the characteristics of the contemporary security environment and identifying traits that are emerging in the future, this article aims to frame meta-competences supporting curricula to shape military future leaders.

THE IMPACT OF EMOTIONAL HEARING ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PRAGMATIC SIDE OF LANGUAGE IN CHILDREN WITH HEARING DISABILITIES

The indispensable role of the development of the verbal language is manifested with a relevant emphasis on the issue of hearing disability. In deaf children who are muted or in the process of being muted, the intelligibility of communication is affected by the disorders of intonation, rhythm and language development that leaves its mark and the poverty of the vocabulary. Perceptions of emotional information by voice in normal conditions and not only, are possible thanks to emotional hearing (EA). The latter contributes to the adequate perception of expression, which leads to the development of the correct response to emotional information, the understanding of the speaker's true intentions, thoughts and opinions, which may contradict his verbal manifestations. Emotional hearing is an indispensable stimulating tool of psychic development and the development of the pragmatic side of language in children with hearing disabilities. To the extent that they intertwine with the language acts that constitute communication, their knowledge helps to better determine the acquisition of the particularities of this process.

THE ROLE OF THE FAMILY-SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP, THE EDUCATIVE FUNCTION OF FAMILY AND THE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES AT A FAMILY LEVEL IN THE PROCESS OF INCLUSION

Family involvement has an important role in the formation of the student's education. The quality of family education can represent the strong point in the good development and growth of the child. The student's development is influenced by certain factors related to the cultural, social and economic level of the family. Analyzing the school-family educational partnership we can get an image of the complexity of the phenomenon and a more nuanced understanding of the fact that the realization of the partnership cannot fall under the responsibility of a single person, or of an institution or contractual party. This partnership involves an optimal division of the roles of the two parties involved in the training of children. The educational partnership represents a direction of social and educational policies. Partnership is not only a concept but also an action in the educational field, presupposing the acceptance of differences of opinion, equalizing the chances of inclusion of the participants with the aim of achieving a common educational action approved by all partners. The main goal of the partnership is to help students be successful in school and later become successful adults.

ROMANIAN SPORTS IN THE COMMUNIST SCHOOL DURING THE PERIOD OF THE YEARS 1973-1989

After the 1973 Party Decision on physical education in schools, the physical education system in Romania underwent significant changes, with an emphasis on promoting health and regular physical activity among students. The party decision of 1973 had as its main purpose the promotion of physical activity and sports among students as an integral part of their education. This document emphasized the importance of physical education in the formation of a healthy individual and encouraged its integration into the school curriculum. The physical education lesson was reinforced as an essential part of the school curriculum. Pupils had regular physical education lessons in schools with a focus on developing physical skills, team spirit and promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. Physical education was seen as a way to attract students to different sports activities and to promote talent and interest in sports. Schools have encouraged students to participate in school, inter-school and national sports competitions so that they discover and develop their sports skills. School camps were another opportunity to promote physical activity and sports. During the camps, sports activities were organized to provide students with a variety of outdoor experiences and to encourage social interaction and team spirit.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOL SATISFACTION AND BURNOUT THROUGH THE LENS OF ECOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT THEORY

School satisfaction is an important component of life satisfaction, with children's and adolescents' level of well-being varying according to their relationships with peers, teachers and the quality of school experiences. According to the ecological theory of human development, a good and deep understanding of young people implies a systemic approach to their lives, emphasising their active role in their own developmental process, which in turn is influenced by social and cultural forces. Adolescents with a high level of school burnout no longer enjoy going to school, they become detached from school, from the experiences they can have in the school environment and this can affect the other dimensions of their lives.

„Okienko na Świat. Pismo dzieci i młodzieży” 1937–1939

This article presents the children’s magazine „Window to the World. Periodical for children and youth”. It was published in Cracow in the years 1937–1939, and its editor in chief and publisher was Henryka Fromowicz-Stillerowa, and the co-editor was Martha Hirschprung. It describes the most notable people working with the magazine, as well as divisions that were in the newspaper. Attention was drawn to the cause of creating the article and the choice of language. It pointed to the character of the ideological writings – Zionism and the need to create a new model of child recipients. The magazine was formed by adults and children. It published classics of Jewish literature (I.L. Peretz, Ch. N. Bialik), the poetry of the young Jewish writers Anda Eker, Minka Silberman, Maurice Szymel, Martha Hirschprung and children.

By applying the method of content analysis, the article analyzes basic (grades 5–8) music textbooks by different authors. The article aims to find out how much and in what way Christian values are presented in the content of musical education. The results of the research revealed that the Christian faith, its meaning and values are most reflected in Balčytis’s series of textbooks “Muzika” (2007). Malikėnienė’s textbooks “Muzika” (2010) and “Muzikos labirintai” (2012) pay more attention to the development of students’ secularity and understanding of music.

The essence of the paper consists of examples of practical use of selected methods of critical thinking in teaching Czech as a second/foreign language, which serve to motivate and develop writing and speaking.

Культурный трансфер школьного партисипаторного бюджетирования и советская традиция воспитания

Introduction. The article provides a literature review on the problem of cultural conformity of school participatory budgeting practice in traditional ideas about education in Russia. The purpose of the article is to evaluate the conformity of the ideas of school participatory budgeting with traditional approaches to education formed in the twentieth century (works by S. T. Shatsky, A. S. Makarenko, I. P. Ivanov). Materials and Methods. The research methodology relies on the ‘cultural transfer’ concept which is defined as a study of foreign cultural form (the object of the transfer) and its resonance with traditional cultural norms (address of the transfer). A comparative analysis of significant works by Soviet education scholars and research articles of international and Russian authors devoted to school participatory (initiative) budgeting was used as a procedure for conducting this study. The comparison parameters represent a modification of the components of the school educational system. Results. The conformity of school participatory budgeting with the Soviet tradition of education is revealed through the following main results: 1) the similarity in ideas about the educational ideal is characterized (socially active, proactive citizen-owner, focused on improving the environment, capable of expressing and defending their interests); 2) common features in the positioning of the child-adult community as an economic and self-governing organization have been established; 3) the analogy between ‘social creativity’ and ‘experiments with democracy’ is proposed and justified; 4) partnership in child-adult relationships is presented as a common feature of the compared phenomena; 5) in both cases, the determining role of social technology of interaction between participants in the relationship was revealed. Conclusions. The article draws the following conclusion: school participatory budgeting does not contradict the ideas of authoritative twentieth-century pedagogues about education; moreover, it allows to enrich the Soviet experience with modern solutions that take into account the peculiarities of the market economy.

ФЕНОМЕН ЧИТАЊА И ЊЕГОВА УЛОГА У САВРЕМЕНО ДОБА

The main matter of this research is phenomenon of reading, has won totally different sense among the society which is witnessing the biggest achievements in technology. A lot of people used to write about the fact of how much important reading is and how the reading activity influences personality development in total, one of them was Nil Gaiman, which warns about the future of illiterate generations. On the other side position of literate society, the one that fosters active reading is out of the crisis to be unhappy, uneducated, personalities without flat and emphaty which most often give themselves to some vices. In this paper the function of literature has been highlighted that represents people need, that forms him and his views on the world. Value and importance of literature has been explained in details by Bogdan Popovic in his essay "About literature", hundred year ago. There we are ablo to see two different perspectives of literature reading, especially on fiction and here we can realise how ideas even a long years distance have stayed the same. One of the ideas that has been mentioned in this paper is how reading is a key and libraries are gates of future. Role of teachers in the process of learning, development and nurturing the active reading is the key in the process of education. Alongside the family from where everything starts and incentivises, school is also responsible for growing generations of active readers, the ones that will see the future in libraries. At the end of this paper some annual informations about usage od literature for kids and adults are adults, actually the informations of how much people are visiting the state library "Dositej Obradovic" in Novi Pazar are included.

УТИЦАЈ ПРИМЕНЕ ИКТ НА ПОСТИГНУЋА УЧЕНИКА У КОМБИНОВАНОМ ОДЕЉЕЊУ

The goal of this research was to determine the effectiveness of ICT on the achievements of students in combined classes, and same time on changing the way teachers work in the teaching process. The attitudes and opinions of teachers, students and parents about the use of ICT in teaching were examined. The research was related to the population represented in the so-called "small schools" in rural areas, which have combined or undivided classes, and therefore a small number of students. Using a non-experimental method, the data were collected on the attitudes of teachers, students and parents. A scale method was used, while the basic instruments for data collection were non-standardized surveys for students, teachers and parents. Results obtained are tabulated and presented graphically, while the percentage calculation method was used in the statistical processing. The test sample included 28 students, 8 teachers and 54 parents. The results obtained from the research will greatly help to improve the quality of teaching using ICT in combined classes. Teachers must be adequately rewarded, and classrooms must be better equipped. Significant differences were also observed regarding the effects of ICT in teaching, depending on the parents. It is necessary to train the parents of the students, so that the application of ICT gives even better effects.
