From the perspective of the critic and essayist Ion Dur, a fair interpretation of culture is a correlative undertaking between history, criticism and philosophy. The analysis made by Ion Dur, based on such a hermeneutical project, emphasises the critical phase of Romanian culture and the failure of the post-revolution Romanian criticism. The conclusions are not encouraging at all, but there are solutions.

Over the past two decades, New York based photographer, Spencer Tunick, has created over 75 human installations located on every continent. His worldwide fame attracts thousands of volunteers who are willing to take their clothes off in a public space to embody the visions of the controversial artist. The photographs of the naked crowds are spectacular, causing the outrage of part of the public opinion, while the specialized critics avoid the subject. On the one hand, questions regarding the aesthetic value of these performances arise; on the other hand, the extent of the Tunick phenomenon proves the existence of a social need for the exhibition of corporeal identity. The realities of the collective nude seem to foreshadow the ideal status of the globalizing nude.

″Él arte povera″ is the art of the „poor” materials collected accidentaly. The art after the 1950's, became a formalized art, ″materialistic″ art and conceptual art too. We also can talk about an art composed by materials like a file from a newspaper, a piece of glass, a piece of an old cloth gathered at random or by mistake, which makes us to think to the ludic intention of the art once described by Johann Huizinga or to the ludic intention which needs to be taken seriously likes Hans Gadamer said. ″El arte povera″ retrieves these trends into principles, but it conserves the originality and the liberty of the invention. This type of art is always looking for natural images and natural spaces. ″El arte povera″ creates a world with it's own forms of expression, own forms of colors and it's own plastic-pictorial language very original. ″El arte povera″ contains as pretext the condition of the plastic / pictorial experiment. Nevertheless, this type of pictorial experiments has generated some trends in the area of the 1970's arts like the movement intitulated Surfaces in Italy and the earthart or enviromental art- all of them placed under the same linguistic umbrella of the ambiental arts.

In the era of « feminisms » Gilbert Durand proposes an interpretation of femininity, through an anthropological grid trying to see the man in his whole in relation to positivist and historicist syntagmas in the first half of the twentieth century or postmodern relativism at the end of the same century. In this sense, we chose the term « dualitude » used by Gilbert Durand and his student Jean-Jacques Wunenburger to interpret the durandian feminine imaginary and the problem of femininity today.

The present endeavor is based upon three guiding aspects, able to offer a measure of that tensional perpetuity which gathers, both in form and in fundament, between the concepts of political and politics, and still gives political philosophy the absolute sense of a “yet”.The first stage revalues the relationship between the new and the old, through attachment operations or different situations simulating either oppositions or particular differences; the second reviews and clearly states the particular context of use for terms such as politics and political; the third considers that political philosophy extracts its modal rationality, signifying “more than that”, from a preservation of philosophy seen as a renewing or innovatory old tide, while being at the same time maintained inside a cooperation – priority position.Political philosophy either demands to be reloaded as a new project and asks to be maintained by Derridian signals of the end as well as of the beginning (through fragmentation and delocalization) – or it still desires a Kimlickian consolation, resorting to a series of disconnected “discrete arguments”, each of which accepts its own (still) particular logic mechanisms, unrelated to all the rest.

Romanian Law avows every individual exclusive right over image use and exploitation. Whether dealing with image right protection distinctively or as a part of the right of privacy, all authors agree that any reproduction, publication or exploitation of portrait photography requires consent. The present study discusses various issues related to the image rights, such as: using a person’s image exclusively for the purpose of the determined consent, the prohibition of publishing pictures of a person in a public place without the permission, the problem of collages and assemblies photographic and cinematographic or the use of a picture published without consent for commercial gain.

In this paper I have analyzed an intriguing definition of law provided by the Romanian philosopher Eugeniu Sperantia (1888-1972). His background is eclectic, combining Platonic idealism, Kantian criticism with Darwinist features and intuitions from the vitalist philosophy. His vast background makes his juridical ethics hard to follow and to deconstruct. I have found, however, two key principles that construct the definition of law. Socialness (“socialitate” in Romanian) is the term that makes alterity significant for Sperantia. His praise of the cohesive norm (a concept ridiculed by structuralist anti-psychiatry) is the second term that configure the phenomenology of law.

The „angriest” part of Goga’s post-WWI publications was dominated by theTransylvanian complex. The journalist raises the issue of the integration difficulties of the provinces united with the Country, with the concern that the “realities’ game” endangers the integrity of the new state. He had seen, for along time, a ghost of separatism within regionalism. Regionalism was defined as a “state of mind, an organic incapacity to become attached to Romania”. The struggle against the “Transylvanian leaders” was continued by the journalist in another context, with another “textual” direction, in a sharp parody, subjectively colourful pages, in order to convince that there are geographical borders and “inner borders”, “ghosts of the past” that feed the psychology of hybrids and the imperial pride. There always are vanities that history cannot satisfy. In Transylvania, too, politics degenerates in venal politicianism and the politician falls towards the “businessman”. The central purpose remains the political scene torn apart by rivalries. Goga the pamphleteer makes a stamp of swiftian humour of the political bargain, with the eyes set on the top of the pyramid. The “leaders” are characterized by moral and cerebral insufficiency, including Maniu, “the man of the undersides and reticence”. Goga speaks clearly about an “implacable determinism” that sealed their biography and the rest of their lives. Goga himself paid a hard tribute to the historic context that structured his personality.

The Russians, the Masons, the Marshal and other Crossroads of Romanian Historiography by Mihai Dimitrie Sturdza is one of the most important books about Romanian modern and contemporary historiography, because it is based on documents to which no other Romanian historian had access, including the telegrams of the ambassador of France in Romania addressed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France during the years after the end of WWII. With validation supplied by several reliable sources, the Romanian history of the last 200 years is set in a new perspective, changing the image which even important historians had about King Michael I, about the Germans and the Russians during WWI, about some aspects of the history of Bucovina during the Austrian domination.

The aim of this paper is to review various occurrences in the analytical thinking on history. The Romanian historiography and philosophy of history brought his own contribution to the European effort in the field of historical research. Some of these personalities are: Gh. Panu, N. Iorga, A.D. Xenopol, Vasile Pârvan, etc. People`s interest in research optimal method was manifested early in Romanian historical thinking. Xenopol, Iorga, Pârvan showed that the Romanian historical research, the methodology used has made significant steps in the field of research. The historians revealed importance of method in research of the human past. The research method gives credibility historical discourse. The historian must look critically at the historical source. The historical source has to be analyzed and decrypted by the erudite spirit in their quest to recreate forgotten world. The synthesis is used to generate the picture of human society that can not exit outside of historical time.

My ideal writing : silence forever to the poet inside me; liquidate its last vestiges of lyricism, going against the current of what it is, betraying his inspirations; stomping his impulses and all his grimaces ". The lyrical emphasis of Cioran`s writing invents its own sorrows, absorbing its emotions in the plasma of the scriptural sign. We witness here a deliberate form of eradication of the lyricism where the writing`s evolution is defined by the sterilisation of all emotions and the refinement of expression. This process is deeply privileged by the choice of French writing wich involve sobriety and temperance. Even this, the lyricism is not lost, it is systematized in the substance of words, contribuing to its own perfection.

The present study explores the political journalistic activity conducted by Rector Fr. Dumitru Stăniloae in the confessional journal from Sibiu Telegraful Român (Romanian Telegraph), between the years 1940-1941. Amid particularly tumultuous events, but also of maximum historical resonance occurring in Romania, the Transylvanian theologian builds a passionate journalistic discourse, which designs his own theo-political ideas for the Romanian nation and Orthodoxy. Vehemently protesting against the Communist ideology and Soviet Russia, torn spiritually because of the abusive territorial losses in those years, the Christian journalist Dumitru Stăniloae adheres, at first, the enticing “Christian totalitarianism” manifested by the Legionary Movement, and, then, becomes a fervent supporter of the expansionist policy of Nazi Germany and its ally, the much contested General Ion Antonescu.
