The article also studies the introduction and use of the Lancastrian method of mutual assistance in education, applied by Neofit Rilski in Gabrovo secular school, as makes a comprehensive review of „Bulgarian Grammar” written by Neofit Rilski (published in 1835 by Moustakov brothers), which was fundamental for the revival and development of the literary modern Bulgarian language.
