The paper seeks to present an overview of the issue of the reform of labour market services using three countries, Germany, Finland and the Netherlands, as examples. Each of these countries takes a different approach to the management of labour market services in the endeavour to react as well as possible to the changes that have taken place on the labour market in recent years. All three countries are trying to improve and modernise the provided employment services in different ways.
