This begs the question: is it only the result of a temporary fashion or rather a requirement of technological times that demand a new category name. Scientists are more and more often convinced that the existing analytical tools and dominant paradigms are no longer sufficient for illustrating the increasingly complex social structures. The article is an attempt to answer the question of what digital sociology and its object of interest are.

From ancient Greece to the present day, there remains in pedagogy a dispute between collectivism, individualism and personalism. Collectivism and individualism arise from the tradition of intellectual idealism, while personalism is a consequence of cognitive realism. In contemporary pedagogical debates personalism asserts that man is a person, but the dispute revolves around what qualities constitute the human person. This article presents the aforementioned approaches and explains this issue in the spirit of realistic (classic) anthropology.

In light of cognitive concepts, a significant cause of adaptation problems are maladaptive cognitive distortions, consisting in assigning meaning to one’s experience in an inaccurate or distorted way. The identification of cognitive distortions in social misfits enables social rehabilitation educators to identify their problems in the process of adaptation to the environmental conditions and to understand the nature of their social functioning. At the same time, it allows to adjust methods of social rehabilitation interaction to the committed distortions.

This paper begins by outlining the two-sided ‘ethical challenge’ that international sociology faces in the 21st century. First, formulating the ethical stance of a sociologist towards the subject of disciplinary inquiry and the potentially involved social groups. Second, elaborating the adequate research tools for studying the ethical dimension of globalizing social reality. We conduct a critical analysis of the current literature on these issues from the Global Sociology perspective. We show that the ‘value-involved’ Global Sociology is the only possible mode of successful and appealing international disciplinary practice. However, existing ‘value-involved’ approaches are Eurocentric by nature and lack sensitivity to the ethically diverse global social reality. We propose the conceptual framing of ‘Ethically Responsible Global Sociology’ as a new vision of our discipline in the global world.

The main objective of the presented research is identification of innovations in contemporary gender equality politics in the Baltic States. Some principles of a new institutionalism approach are applied for the examination of the development of gender equality machinery in the Baltic States since 1940. Critical analysis of popular ideologies („myths”), new social movements and initiatives, social problems and troubles on the micro and macro scales, ways of resolving them and social costs of such resolution, should be the basic tasks of sociologists. Elementary forms of liberal democracy seem to be an external precondition of playing such a role.

Kvalitet života autori izučavaju primarno iz bioetičke prizme, i on najčešće obuhvata područja fizičkog i psihičkog zdravlja, razinu neovisnosti, socijalne odnose, osobni kontekst, religijsku dimenziju i osobna vjerovanja.

The distinctions with a meta-theoretical character about the old and the new institutionalism are, as it is normal, the preservation of new institutionalists, those who are representatives of a school of thought, mature and capable of producing reflections on his own domain. For this reason, the analysis of what they have in common and what is different, concern two moments of institutionalism that are first found in the works of new institutionalists. Old institutionalists usually respond to comments of the new representatives of the school, trying to show their sources and that there is no so much difference as the new institutionalists claim.

Internal security and so-called soft threats such as extremism, radicalism, or organizedcrime have not long been considered a legitimate part of security studies as a branchof international relations. The aim of this study is to show how the meaning of internalsecurity has changed in security research. Previously, issues of internal security havebeen discussed mainly as part of criminology, sociology or criminal law, and nowadaysthey are an integral part of security studies. The central part of the study is anintroduction to a wide variety of approaches to internal security - from the traditionalconcept of internal security as an objective state, through a social construct, and adiscourse, to security practice. The paper consists of two parts. Firstly, it focuses onthe genesis of security theory and the emergence of internal (soft) security in the 80'sand related concepts such as Homeland Security, regime security or Innere Sicherheit. The second part presents two main approaches to the research of internal security -problem solving theories and critical security theories - and summarizes their benefitsand limitations.

Since 1990 our country sharply increase the proportion of families who are not formally married. As a result of this rapid increase and the proportion of children who registered the statistics as "non-marital".The purpose of this article is to analyze regional differences in areas in the level of non-marital births and dynamics of these differences in our country during the period 1995-2015.To achieve the above objective solve several tasks: Comparative analysis of the dynamics of changes in the size of the share of non-marital births between Bulgaria and some European countries. Study the dynamics of non-marital births in Bulgaria - total and for regions. Exploring the differences between regions in the level of non-marital births in a given year. The basis of the methodology is the statistical approach. Used as elementary statistical measurements for studying the development of time series - absolute growth, growth rate, integral coefficient of structural differences and stronger methods such as regression and correlation analysis. The results of the survey show very rapid adoption of the model of cohabitation in Bulgaria. Bulgaria quickly, just 20 years from 1990 to 2010, overtook countries like Sweden and France in the next five years even overtake them in terms of the proportion of children born out of wedlock. The majority of the population of our country adopts new standards and model of coexistence. In all areas the proportion of children born out of wedlock is increasing. There is reason to accept as true the hypothesis that the concentration of the Muslim population in some regions It affects the dynamics and the level of non-marital births. An important result of the study is that in recent years have seen a slowdown in growth. Most likely reach the threshold of non-marital births, about who will keep her level. It is not excluded in the future process of increasing the share of non-marital births gradually "die down" due to depletion of its potential. Possibly even a return to lower shares, which was established in four regions.
