Competitions represent one of the ways to demonstrate the degree of knowledge attained on a certain subject. If correctly guided, it could be used as a strong motivational tool in the educational process. The competitions in maktab and religious instruction are present but beginning to loose their meaning as they are only directed at theory while application of the theory in practice is not present and is completely overlooked. Our times require our full cooperation in all aspects of raising and education and particularly cooperation between muallims and religious teachers. However, this cooperation is not at the desired level. The lessons are brought down to a mere reproduction of theory while there is no sufficient practical class in which students would demonstrate their knowledge. Religious and maktab classes and competition play a great role in raising and educational system if we consider the moral crisis in which our society is today. We have the responsibility to raise and educate the future generations and should not regret any extra effort or time and seek new ways to improve and make religious and maktab class and competitions more appealing.

The present study investigates the Istro-Romanian terms of Latin origin in the lexical-semantic area of animals (the underclass of wild animals). An overview of these terms recording in the literature dented to Istro-Romanian lexis reveals their highly vulnerable and outdated character in the general vocabulary of this variety. The scarce and limited evidence of some of these words is justified by the peripheral nature of this lexical-semantic class and by the powerful competition with Croatian borrowings which tend to replace them.

This paper discusses the role and significance of Gorski vijenacki by Njegos, found in the novel Lelejska gora by Mihailo Lalic. In addition to the verses that represent the exposition of the first twocompositional units, It was dark and Alone, there is a parallelism at the ideological and value plan, according to twhich the writer, through the actions preformed by Lado Tajović, takes affirmative and controversial relationship, developing a heroic-patriotic model, present in the most important parts of the Montenegrin literature of the nineteenth century that reconstruct the socio-cultural Montenegrin social code, based on the ideals of humanity and heroism.

The Islamic educational poll (expert board) had the task of studying and offering solutions to a number of religious educational and general educational questions in the field of elementary education, of which some had been ‘inviolable’ for centuries - such as secular education of female Muslim children, considering that strong opposition from parents as well as from the greater part of the conservative ulama dominated this sphere. Despite the heterogeneous intellectual makeup, the survey had conducted an analysis of all the questions and offered some solutions which, in contrast to the present condition, was a significant step forward in the direction of religious and general education of the new generation of Muslims.

By the novel Switches J. Musabegović is searching for an answer to the question: How it seems history seen through the eyes and the woman gets some sort on the basis of values that defines a woman? Objectification of meaning of historical events in women’s consciousness as a tight space where there are two modes of existence of otherness: an oath of loyalty is a rational paternal soil and unification with cultural self-image, and others - the downfall of silence as a plunge in maternal, unrevealed locations of the singularity (no man’s land). The first thematic plan includes those substantive aspects of the story in the novel Switches that support the dominant cultural model of women’s consciousness has already been accepted and adopted as a value which profiled female identity, as opposed to another (“no man’s land”) which is subversive wild female consciousness that produces opposition to the limits of identity.

O tome govore prikupljeni sadržaji i brojne nesabrane priče i predanja.

In this article the idiomatic expression смашком главом ходешти ‘smashkom glavom hodeshti’ is analyzed. The problematic smashkom glavom is considered as a substitution of the Croatian s muškom glavom ‘with a man (a male person)’. The preposition c/s for instrumental does not refer to the appearance (of a person) “(with) shorn hair” or “(with) uncovered head” etc. In this case, it is semantically connected to the subject of the verb (Bulg.) ходя / hodya ‘gо’ with one more subject of the same action; beside the semantics of this verb is another: ‘have intercourse’. Regarding the inner form of the Bulg. ходя c (някого) / hodya s (nyakogo) ‘go with (someone)’ cf. the Lat. co-eo, co-īre ‘to come together, to have sexual intercourse’, and from it – the Lat. coitus ‘sexual intercourse’. Hence, ‘smashkom glavom hodeshti’ in Abagar (1651) means ‘male homosexuals’ – the subject to reprimand in the Epistle of Apostle Paul to Corinthians.
