In everyday life many children are very early encounter with foreign languages through contact with modern media and communication technologies, which directs them to that very quickly and they adopted many foreign words and phrases they learn in that way. The increasing focus on multilingualism has led to the earlier start to learn the first foreign language in schools. The presence of foreign language learning can be recorded in many kindergartens. Early language learning helps children develop a positive attitude towards other cultures and languages as well as the creation of high-quality foundation for learning other foreign languages at an earlier age. English as a first foreign language at an early age provides a good basis for learning other foreign languages in middle school. Although many prefer English as the first foreign language, the fact is that our country and the economic environment, tourism and other forms maintains contacts with German-speaking countries, this is an evident need for knowledge of the German language. The intellectual and the overall development of the child are also encouraged for early foreign language learning. Pilot project "Happy Workshop" for children in the second grade of elementary school allow introduction and adoption of German at them friendly way, or through play, song and dance. At the same time workshops are important and are designed to develop talent in children. Tasks are set to lead a child from easier to more difficult exercises, from the concrete to the abstract, from the whole to the individual. The results of the workshops show that children quickly acquire German direct participation in the song and game: 40% of students is entirely mastered presented linguistic fund, 40% in part - have difficulty to repeat the entire linguistic fund, while 19.5% of students only with the help of teachers can repeat the entire linguistic fund, but only 0.5% cannot overcome linguistic fund

Suriyeli Göçmen Çocukların Eğitimi ve Dil Öğretiminin Önemi: Uluslararası Gönüllülük Esaslı Bir Proje Olarak “Paper Airplanes”

Öncelikle mülteci sorunu benim için insani bir sorun olduğu kadar, komşularımıza karşı hissettiğimiz moral bir sorun. Gaziantepli olmam ve ayrıca göç başladığı dönemde babamın Gaziantep’te görevli olması sorunla yakından ilgilenmeme sebep oldu. Mülteci kamplarını ziyaret ettim, şehirde yaşayan Suriyelilerle görüştüm. Dahası mültecilerle ilgili STK’larda ve devlette çalışan çeşitli kişilerle görüştüm. Sorunun farklı boyut ve yansımalarını onlardan dinleme imkanı buldum. Suriyeli mültecilerin devam ettiği bir üniversiteyi ziyaret ettim. Öğretim üyeleri ve özellikle de kız öğrencilerle görüştüm. Bundan dolayı, mülteci sorununu sadece medyada izleyen ve okuyan biri olarak değil, âdeta sorunun içerisinde yaşayan biri olarak anlamaya ve anlamlandırmaya çalıştım. Konuyu daha nesnel olarak anlamak için Erasmus+ bursu ile Çek Cumhuriyeti Charles University in Prague bünyesindeki Geographical Migration Center (GEOMIGRACE) Göç Merkezindeki çalışmalara katıldım. Göç sorununu ve bunun uluslararası sonuçlarını bu merkezdeki meslektaşlarımla tartıştım. Ve Türkiye’deki Suriyeli Mülteci Çocukların Eğitimi üzerine bir ders verdim. Bu çalışma da eğitime farklı bir proje olan Paper Airplanes’e dahil olmam sonucunda şekillendi.

Japoncada “– yo, -ne, -yone” Duygu İlgeçleri ve Türk Öğrencilerin Algılayışı

Japoncada duyguları ve algılayışı ifade eden sesletimler tümce sonu ilgeçleri ( 終助詞 ) olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Bu ilgeçler konuşucu ve dinleyici arasındaki iletişimi sağlamada önemli bir rol üstlenir. Özellikle よ、 ね、よね günlük konuşmalarda çok kullanıldığından Japonca öğretimine yönelik temel ders kitaplarında bunlara yer verildiği görülmektedir. Örneğin, bu ilgeçlere Minna no Nihongo I adlı ders kitabında, ilk olarak 5. konuda karşılaşılmakta ve bunlar tümce yapılarının öğretiminde değil, diyaloglarda karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu sebeple nasıl öğretileceği konusu öğreticinin kendi deneyim ve yöntemiyle alakalı bir durum olmuştur. Öğrenciler Japonca konuşmaya başladıkları andan itibaren konuşmalarında bu ilgeçleri de kullanmaktadırlar. Bunlar arasında doğru şekilde kullananlar olsa da hatalı kullananların ya da hiç kullanmamayı tercih edenlerin olduğu görülmektedir. Özellikle hatalı kullanımların sebebi merak konusudur. Bu ilgeçler ders kitaplarındaki diyaloglarda hangi anlamlarda kullanılmış? Öğrenciler bu ilgeçlerin her birinin anlam ve kullanımını kavrayabilmiş mi, bunlar arasındaki kullanım farkını ayırt edebiliyorlar mı, ana dilinde bunları ne şekilde algılamakta ve nasıl anlamlandırıyorlar? Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğrencilerin bu ilgeçlerle ilgili edim düzeylerini ölçmek ve anadilindeki algılayışlarını saptamaktır. Bu sebeple bu çalışmada öğrencilere yukarıdaki sorular doğrultusunda anket uygulanmış ve anket sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir.

トルコ人日本語学習者による長音の知覚境界

トルコ人日本語学習者の音声を観察すると「図書」を「としょ う」と発音するような長音化がよく見られる。この原因として、短 音と長音の境界が異なることが原因として考えられる。そこで本研 究は、トルコ人日本語学習者の短音と長音の知覚境界を明らかにす ることを目的とする。そのために、学習者と母語話者に対して、恒 常法による知覚実験を行った。その結果、（1）拗音を含む場合、 トルコ人日本語学習者の知覚境界は日本語母語話者と比較して有意 に大きい、（2）初級学習者は実験語による知覚境界の差が大きい が、上級学習者は実験語による知覚境界の差が小さいという 2 点が 明らかになった。 (1)から、学習者に見られる拗音を含む音節の長音化は、日本語 母語話者との知覚境界の違いによるものであると考えられる。また、 (2)の通り学習が進むと知覚境界のばらつきは押さえられるものの、 境界自体は日本語母語話者とは異なるままである。そのため、短音 と長音の知覚には特別な訓練が必要であると考えられる。 キーワード:トルコ人日本語学習者、長音化、知覚境界、拗音

Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Japoncayı Seçmeli Ders Olarak Tercih Etme Nedenleri ve Beklentileri

İş, teknoloji, ticaret ve kültür alanlarında beraberinde getirdiği avantajlar nedeniyle Japon dili incelemelerine olan ilgi artmaktadır. Birbirleri arasında ilişkilerin olduğu bu alanların üniversite öğrencilerinin ilgilendikleri seçmeli derslere yansıması doğaldır. Bu yüzden seçmeli ders olarak verilen Japon dili derslerinin öğrencilerin ilgi, beklenti, ihtiyaç ve öncelikleri incelenerek geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Farklı kültürleri anlayıp yorumlamak için gerekli bilincin oluşması insanlar arası etkileşimin tüm boyutları için önemlidir. Bu çalışmada Japoncanın seçmeli ders olarak tercih edilme nedenlerinin, dersi seçmeyi tercih eden öğrencilerin müfredat içeriğinde neler görmek istedikleri dâhil olmak üzere dersten beklentilerinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bir devlet üniversitesinin Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi’nde öğrenim gören on dokuz öğrencinin seçmeli ders olarak Japoncayı tercih etme nedenleri ve beklentilerine yönelik açık uçlu sorulara verdikleri cevaplar içerik analiziyle incelenmiştir. Araştırmaya 13 kadın ve 6 erkek öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada kültürel boyutlara olan ilgi ön plana çıkmıştır. Dört katılımcıdan biri iş yaşamına etkisini tercih nedeni olarak görmüştür. Aynı oranda kişi, bilen kişi sayısının azlığını neden olarak öne sürmüştür. Katılımcıların yaklaşık üçte biri Japonca öğrenmenin zorluklarıyla birlikte başarılabilir olduğundan, sürecin keyifli ve eğlenceli olmasından bahsetmişlerdir.

In this paper, I investigated the Turkish translation of Bitmemiş Hikayeler Kütüphanesi [Library of Unfinished Stories, つづきの図書館] by Sachiko Kashiwaba. Gestures, in the target text, are determined and are examined how gestures are translated from Japanese to Turkish. Based on this, it is presented how emblem gesture should be taught to Turkish native students. Findings showed that translating gesture requires other strategies such as gesture-dialogue connection, synchronization, and cultural sense. For translating emblem gestures, it is necessary to translate the meaning and function of the source text, besides approaching them with a complex perspective in the translation process. In addition, in the translation process from the source language to the target language, not only linguistic and syntactic knowledge but also the languageculture relationship of the source language should be taught to Turkish students. For this purpose, it is considered that the use of gesture and body movement, visual materials, and the introduction of gestures of source culture have the importance. By this way, it is expected that a new point of view can help students in education of translation studies.

Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi Japon Dili ve Edebiyatı Anabilim Dalı 1. Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Sözcük Öğrenim Süreçleri Üzerine Bir Araştırma

In this study, it is aimed to present the materials, methods and problems encountered by the 1st year students of Japanese Language and Literature Department to increase their Japanese vocabulary, and the solutions offered by the students themselves in order to eliminate these problems. For this purpose, in 2017-2018 academic year, 18 students of Japanese Language and Literature Department of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University were interviewed. The research was conducted at the end of the spring semester with volunteer students. As a result of the interviews, it was understood that the students mostly used textbooks, various smart phone applications and dictionaries. The methods used to increase the vocabularies have varied. It is determined that the biggest problem faced by students, who expressed various problems about the vocabulary learning, is that the materials they use are Japanese-English. Finally, it is concluded that students offer similar suggestions to eliminate the problems they encounter during the word learning process. In this study, similar solutions are grouped under 3 categories.

BILINGUALISM IN THE CONTEXT OF ECONOMIC GLOBALIZATION

The focus of the paper is on the issues of globalization through the prism of crosscultural communication. The spread of bilingualism in the modern society is interpreted by economic, migration, cultural, educational and sports processes. The necessity to study languages and cultures in the modern society is pointed out; numerous classifications of bilingualism are mentioned. The following notions are considered in the paper: a monocultural identity, and a bicultural identity; the following groups are distinguished: monocultural monolinguals, monocultural bilinguals, bicultural monolinguals, bicultural bilinguals. The paper also dwells upon such a phenomenon as interference and by way of illustration of it a three year child-bilingual from an international Russian-Bulgarian family is described. Some advantages and disadvantages of several languages learning are considered.

Les industries de la langue et la traduction professionnelle : pluridisciplinarité et synergie de la formation

Based on several translation-oriented disciplines and fields using translation, some of which constantly use new technologies, the teaching of translation in Applied Modern Languages departments involves multilingual computer processing, a field that largely overlaps with that of the language industries. The multidisciplinary training for the translation professions (also considered professions of linguistic and cultural mediation) requires a perfect synergy between the disciplines of intercultural communication and appropriate interdisciplinary pedagogical approaches. Business simulation is one of these methods. It is perfectly suited because, on the one hand, it can be adapted to be used to train specialists in many trades the focal point of which is translating and, on the other hand, it can help a future professional to get used in advance with his/her working environment and learn to live his job. This is what the author tries to illustrate through translation teaching approaches involving the simulation of translation projects in the field of the language industries.

Linguistique contrastive et enseignement de la traduction raisonnée

Les manuels français-italien «grammaire-traduction» du XVIIIe au XIXe siècle : de l’oralité vivante à l’écriture passéiste

This study analyzes the changes undergone by the “grammar-translationˮ type French-Italian bilingual textbooks, used especially in the teaching of Modern Foreign Languages in Europe in the eighteenth century, following the institutionalization of MFL teaching in the nineteenth century. The treatment of common conversation idiomatic expressions is here examined in four avatars of Giovanni Veneroni’s 1678 textbook (published in 1737, 1786, 1821 and 1864). It shows that it is not the grammar-translation method of these textbooks that should have been challenged in the late nineteenth century, but a shift in the conception of language from living orality to old-fashioned writing. The identification of historical, social, linguistic and political causes that motivated this educational involution allows us today to re-assess the key role of translation in the teaching of MFL and at last gives these old bilingual textbooks the place they deserve, especially in the eighteenth century, in the history of Franco-Italian translation.

Plusieurs méthodes, un même défi à relever : le transfert interlingual

Tematski rječnici kao nastavno sredstvo u p(r)oučavanju jezika

The purpose of this article is to present the methodological status of the dictionary in the process of learning/teaching other Slavic languages and to determine the features of the bilingual thematic educational Ukrainian-Croatian dictionary. Dictionaries play an important role in the development of national culture and in the supporting and improving a particular native language. During the thirty-year period of independence both Croatia and Ukraine can boast only a small amount of Croatian and Ukrainian lexicographic editions that could simultaneously apply to Croatian and Ukrainian. The important role of vocabulary in learning a foreign language does not require any comments. In fact it is generally accepted in teaching methods, which means that dictionary, as well as textbook, are necessary means in the teaching process. Noting and grouping words in dictionary also has a fairly long history. The alphabetical order of lexical units is traditional and commonly accepted in the world lexicography. Hence, thematic and ideographic lexicography are supposed to be alternatives to alphabetic lexicography.
