Momro critically portrays fragility in a broad cultural, historical, polititical and aesthetic context. He explores several contemporary phenomena: the ephemerality of concepts in the humanities and the experimental and social sciences, the precariousness as a social, economic and class condition, fragility as a requirement for the formation of alliances between communities, the crisis of narrative history, of the discoursive legitimation of the sciences and, most importantly perhaps, physical sensitivity and existential vulnerability.
