- Summary/Abstract:Romanian literature from Voivodina and education among the Romanian minority play a vital role in preserving the cultural and linguistic identity of the community. Literature captures the history, traditions, and values of Romanians in this area, maintaining a deep connection to their roots. Romanian schools in Voivodina actively promote Romanian literature by integrating it into the educational process through various methods. School celebrations and recitations are key moments where primary and secondary school students develop their expressive skills and learn to appreciate the cultural and literary values of their community. Additionally, textbooks are essential tools in this effort, including Romanian literary texts that contribute to the formation of students' linguistic and cultural identity. By incorporating these works into the curricula, a school keeps the literary tradition alive and ensure the transmission of Romanian cultural values to new generations. In this paper, we aim to conduct a detailed analysis of the educational plans and curricula developed by Romanian language teachers for students in Voivodina, as published on the Ministry of Education's website. We will examine how Romanian literature from Voivodina is included in school textbooks, focusing on an axiological analysis of the selected texts proposed in the curriculum. We will also propose criteria for selecting literary texts by Voivodina's writers to promote a more consistent presence of canonical Romanian literature in school textbooks in this region. Therefore, this paper will help improve educational content and enhance the cultural identity of Romanian students in Voivodina.

- Summary/Abstract:Traditional ways of approaching the literary text tend not to identify and explore the deep resources of imagination and creativity that each pupils possesses. Integrated contents through literature and visual arts should inspire pupils to explore and develop these hidden resources, giving them the opportunity to evolve and contribute to society in unique ways. Reading fairy tales, for example, takes pupils to fantastic realms, offers them the opportunity to meet different characters, portrayed in different situations and colours, and introduces elements that can inspire their imagination when creating art work. The condition to transpose a literary work into an art work, a meaningful excerpt of the text should be selected and read, the elements that the art work is to be based on should be highlighted, and methods and procedures appropriate to the proposed content should be applied. The scientific problem considers the theoretical substantiation and methodological instrumentation of the pedagogical conditions necessary to ensure the efficient interaction between the methods and procedures applied during the processing of a literary work in correlation with visual arts oriented to developing the imagination and creativity of younger school age pupils. The aim of our paper is to design a conceptual model of interaction of methods applied in the classes of literary text processing in correlation with visual arts in the younger grades of elementary school in order to optimize the didactic act. This paper is very important from an interdisciplinary point of view, but also to highlight, trough images and words, the values of interculturality at the geographical area where the Romanian language and visual arts are learned in the pupil’s mother tongue.

- Summary/Abstract:The present study analyzes the answers provided by 146 undergraduate (67.1%) and master's (32.9%) students in the field of educational sciences in Romania, to the question "Is there a connection between the researcher's moral values and compliance with the norms of ethics in research?". The study was based on a questionnaire applied through the Google Forms application. The data were analyzed by statistical methods, using SPSS. In addition to the basic statistical indicators (frequency, average, median, mode), we also used the results of non-parametric tests: Jonckheere-Terpstra (J-T), Kruskal Wallis (χ2), Mann-Whitney (U). The results show that the respondents who do not position themselves in relation to the question in the item (23.3%) have the following profile: 44.11% are aged between 20-30 years, 88.23% studied at a high school with another profile than the pedagogical one, 47% work in education, 88.23% have minimum work experience in education, 76.70% do not have teaching career degrees and the same percent are at the bachelor's level. The analysis according to the age, the level of studies and the place of work of the respondents shows that there are no statistically significant differences between the two groups of respondents. These research variables do not statistically significantly influence the relationship between the appropriation of moral values and the observance of research ethics. The research can be extended on a larger sample and on different countries, with diverse cultural backgrounds, to identify the possibilities for improving the university curriculum.

- Summary/Abstract:After 1990, Bulgaria entered a new era profoundly shaped by democratic and social changes. Until that point, the communist regime had suppressed religious education for nearly five decades, enforcing a system based on atheism. In this context, the reintegration of religious education encounters numerous challenges, including the pronounced secularization of society, the cultural legacy of atheism, and the absence of public consensus on the necessity of religious education. Although Bulgaria's legal framework supports religious freedom, religious education remains optional and is offered in a limited number of schools. The strained relationship between the Church and the State, coupled with the optional nature of the subject and the administrative difficulties faced by teachers of religion, adversely impacts the implementation of religious education. This article analyzes these issues and underscores the need for additional efforts to strengthen religious education, acknowledge religious identity, and integrate it into an increasingly diverse Bulgarian society.

- Summary/Abstract:Our study wishes to present the proportion of active-participative methods in the lesson of religion today. In other words, we would like to present how to maintain a balance between the use of the traditional didactic methods and the active, modern ones, within the lesson of religion. The necessity to rethink formal education together with the non-formal and informal education, in their various forms of representation is one of the challenges of the contemporary society. If in the traditional methodology the student is no more than a simple listener, receiving passively what is transmitted or demonstrated to him, in the active-participative methodology the student is an actor, he receives all the knowledge by using his thinking, his intellectual functions in relation to the task he receives. The purpose of the class of Religion is, essentially, to form authentic Christians, who actually live the Christian teaching and spirituality, active participants to the cult of the Church and to the social life. Although the didactic method has an important role within the class of Religion, this does not mean that it is the only one that matters, but one must also take into account the fact that the “addressee” of the Christian religious education must benefit as much as possible of everything that the spiritual life – revealed or consolidated during the class of Religion – has to offer.

- Summary/Abstract:Through the present study, we aimed to provide data for creating a profile of adolescents with low self-esteem, depending on different variables. Complementarily, we wanted to find out how this category of students relates to moral and religious values and whether attending church is understood as a benchmark for getting out of this state. We capitalized on the research data collected through a questionnaire administered to over 700 high school students in Romania. We considered two statements with a negative connotation from M. Rosenberg's self-esteem scale: "Sometimes I think I'm worth nothing", respectively "Sometimes I think about myself that I'm a loser". The data show that for both statements there are no statistically significant differences depending on gender, place of residence, family size. Regarding the class the students belong to, for the first statement there are statistically significant differences, i.e. the lowest average of the ranks is recorded for students from the 9th grade. Thus, we can say that we have the opportunity to meet both girls and boys with low self-esteem.

- Summary/Abstract:This article discusses one of the desirable virtues, kindness, its essence and types, its complicated nature because it can cause conflict and is realized in a merciless and imperfect world. The author pays special attention to an important element of the virtue of mediocrity, the requirement to forgive offenses by resorting to the postulates from the Bible. At the same time, the parable of the love of enemies is addressed, where forgiveness represents the forgetting of offenses and the existence of an agreement to establish peace. In conclusion, it is noted that kindness is not a virtue of the past, but a timeless principle that continues to inspire people to live a life characterized by compassion, empathy, forgiveness and love. At the same time, it is highlighted that at the beginning of the millennium we live in an era where discord, aggression and division dominate society and mediocrity serves as a beacon of hope, encouraging us all to extend a hand of kindness to those in need and to we promote a society full of compassion, mercy and empathy.

- Summary/Abstract:This paper presents four socio-political conceptions of the Renaissance and the Modern Era: Machiavelli, Hobbes, Locke and Hume. Machiavelli analyzes two forms of government, the principality and the republic, corresponding to the absolute monarchy and the current democracy. He also speaks of the separation of powers in the state, in a platonic sense, with reference to the three existing social classes: the sovereign, the nobility and the common people. Hobbes introduces the notion of a social pact that makes the transition from the natural state to the social state of humanity. It is signed between citizens and the state and is seen as a transfer of rights from the citizen to the sovereign. The risk of the social state is that the State, endowed with too many rights, becomes the Leviathan monster that swallows individuals. Locke lays the foundations of the modern state on two fundamental ideas: human rights and the separation of powers in the state. He argues that every person benefits from a series of natural rights: life, health, liberty and property. Within the state, power should not fall on the shoulders of a single person, that is why he speaks of the separation of powers in the state: legislative, executive and federative (army). Hume argues that society is that socio-political organization that must solve the problem of satisfying human needs. For it to work, a series of operating conditions (private property, free market) and a series of rules (laws of justice) are needed.

- Summary/Abstract:Teachers’ motivation, job satisfaction, engagement, and commitment to the profession significantly influence teaching outcomes. In the last decades, a large number of studies investigated preservice teachers’ motivation to choose teaching as a career and these motivational factors have been categorized as follows: 1) intrinsic motives (such as a desire to work with children), 2) extrinsic motivation (external benefits such as job security, time for family or longer vacations) and 3) altruistic motives (shaping the childrens’ future or enhancing social equity). According to an OECD report (2005), intrinsic and altruistic motives were the most frequently nominated reasons for choosing teaching as a career, in European countries. Personal values guide peoples’ actions and decisions and can shape their career path. This study aims to identify motivational factors and personal values that could be linked with career choice, in a sample of preschool and primary school preservice teachers. FIT-Choice Scale and Portrait Values Questionnaire (PVQ) were used for collecting data. The potential mediating role of personal values in the relationship between motivational factors and preservice teachers' career choices is also discussed.

- Summary/Abstract:LOGIC. The chosen theme falls within the issue of personal development of preschool children, and the investigation carried out aims to explore how optional activities can represent an opportunity for the formation of independent intellectual work skills, an important premise for a successful path in the first year of school. The purpose of the research: to identify the formative-educational role of an optional program of personal development through games and exercises of attention and logic on the intellectual formation of 5-6 year old preschoolers. The intellectual skills formed through the educational intervention carried out through the optional personal development program prepare preschoolers for school activity. The hypothesis of the research: the inclusion in the educational offer of the curriculum available to the school (CDȘ) of an optional personal development through games and exercises of attention, insight and logic intended for older preschoolers creates the prerequisites for the formation of the skills of independent intellectual work / autonomy in learning and, implicitly , of the premises for a positive evolutionary personal path in the first year of school.

- Summary/Abstract:Feedback has an important role in promoting autonomous learning and influencing student learning outcomes. To become autonomous, students need to regularly monitor their learning, be aware of their learning objectives, know their learning needs and seek strategies to address them. The best learners are those who can self-regulate their style of approaching tasks, engaging with tasks, setting and adjusting their goals, using ways to manage difficult learning problems and even creating new ones. As part of autonomous learning, feedback is used to check that learners understand the task, to help them as they approach the problem, to correct their mistakes and to improve their performance. Its main purpose is to modify the autonomous learning process, which can enable a student to achieve expected or desired outcomes.

- Summary/Abstract:In the literature, there are several definitions of the psychology of religion, which shows us a permanent concern about it, even an attempt to define its object of study. Thus, some of them define the psychology of religion as the science of the soul, the psychic, which studies the connection between man and God or Transcendent, with the emphasis on the relationship between man and God. This study has an exploratory purpose, to identify the significance of religious behavior in our lives. It was conducted following a seminar with a group of students of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, Cluj-Napoca, within the optional course of the pedagogical module: Elements of religious psychology. The students were asked to define the concept of religious behavior, a definition accompanied by examples of behaviors practiced in everyday life, as well as to identify the role of these behaviors in everyone's life. What significance does religious behavior have for modern man? and What is the role of religious behavior in the life of modern man? The perspectives from which religious behavior was tracked were discussed in advance: Religious behavior as a way of behavior of a person, religious behavior manifested as a series of attitudes towards God, as an external manifestation of faith, religious behavior manifested as a series of attitudes related to religious worship, the Church, religious behavior as a set of ritual actions, as external manifestations of faith. Following the analysis and evaluation of the students' research, the conclusions were as follows: Religious behavior becomes the outward manifestation of inner experiences in a different kind of reality, which presupposes the relationship with the divine. The roles of religious behaviors, which derive from man's connection with God, are the development of a sense of belonging, the improvement of self-image, a good relationship with oneself, the identification of the meaning of one's own life, the development of spiritual life and, last but not least, a therapeutic role.

- Summary/Abstract:Theoretical and applied perspectives for the use of digital resources in youth education. The proposed study aims to carry out a complex and in-depth analysis of the learning model through digitalized education systems, input generated in the recognized teaching-evaluation methods, and represents a continuation of the research undertaken in the sphere of new educations, eloquently expressed by the use of technologies information and communication in the sphere of formal education. The objective pursued in the present study aims to analyze the use of digitalized interactive resources in the training and education of young people, under the conditions of the contemporary information society. Why interactive resources are important in the development of young people's skills and abilities, this is the working hypothesis considered in carrying out the proposed study. In the framework of the topic addressed, we considered a series of internationally recognized studies and researches, which present the effects produced by computerized technology systems on educational training both in the pre-university and in the university environment in our country. The working models presented, but also the individual research perspectives reflect, in fact, the new formative-adaptive challenges necessary for the configuration of a quality educational act, a fundamental component for ensuring a young generation, adapted to the demands of a society in perpetual change.

- Summary/Abstract:As a professor, I am aware that the most delicate aspect of my work is assessing students. Through the learning activities designed for university students, I have realized that personalized assessment is a necessary approach that must be adapted to each student’, skills, and learning pace. This article outlines several arguments, challenges, and benefits of personalized assessment in working with students, as identified through exploratory interviews with professors from the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești. Personalized assessment significantly improves the quality of the higher education process by enabling more equitable and relevant evaluation, encouraging autonomy, engagement, and the development of valuable skills for student preparation. However, providing personalized assessment and constructive feedback requires a shift from traditional evaluation mindsets, a willingness to use additional resources, and overcoming challenges related to logistical complexity and maintaining objectivity in assessment.

- Summary/Abstract:Proverbs are identified by linguists as elements of repeated speech that, on one hand, embellish language with expressiveness, but on the other hand, may impart a template character to the text. Consequently, some critics view the use of proverbs in discourse as a form of intellectual servility, while others regard them as gems of linguistic tradition that encapsulate the generalised experience of a people. Education, as a concept, is considered a universal value, yet different cultures may approach it differently. Translating paremiological units can provide access to new perspectives on universal values and experiences, or reveal strong elements of interculturality. This article aims to explore the main strategies for translating proverbs about learning from English into Romanian, based on specialized lexicographic works. It will highlight the differences and similarities between Anglo-Saxon and Romanian cultural perspectives on the learning process and the strategies translators use to convey the essence of each paremiological unit.

- Summary/Abstract:Assuming, even absurdly, that we could witness a utopian scene, worthy of the most terrible sci-fi scenarios, of the arrival in time from the past of a famous intellectual or scientist from a bygone era, say the interwar period in the case of our country, a period recognized as one of the most intellectually and scientifically prolific in Romania history, what exactly do you think would happen to that person put in front of smart electronic devices like laptops, smart boards, wireless connections etc? That person would probably the feeling of being in a crazy world or living a nightmare from which he can’t seem to make up. You could probably think that he would be a total misfit. And yet the reality would be that, after a relative period of adaptation, that person will become a genius of our days. Why? The present paper attempts an answer to this questions.

- Summary/Abstract:The research on optimizing the psycho-emotional state of parents whose children have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is particularly relevant given the increasing number of children diagnosed with ASD in the Republic of Moldova and the challenges faced by their parents. While occupational centers focus on child therapy and parent education, the parents’ psycho-emotional state remains insufficiently approached. These parents often experience stress, anxiety, and social isolation, and the necessary support is, in many cases, informally provided by other parents in similar situations. Thus, understanding the fundamental mechanisms that influence the psycho-emotional state of parents whose children have ASD served as the foundation for developing a psychological program aimed to reduce the negative effects of stress, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion, thereby optimizing resilience and hardness of the parents.

- Summary/Abstract:The paper presents the role of problematization as a teaching technology to make university education more effective, with the idea of presenting to teachers the opportunities that this technology offers in shaping the student's attitude towards the studies they are pursuing and in the formation of motivation for learning. The main goal in contemporary university education is to prepare competent and competitive specialists on the labour market, and to this end, teachers make significant efforts to organize and manage the educational process in such a way as to ensure a high level of training for future specialists. Problematization is a modern method with an active-participative character, which supports independent activity, trains and develops the intellectual abilities of a pupil/student, imagination and logical thinking, creativity, allows the formulation of hypotheses and alternative solutions. This technique contributes to the acquisition of new knowledge, mobilizes, stimulates, develops and brings cognitive, affective and actional satisfaction, a teaching activity based on problem increasing the effectiveness of learning. The paper proposes an example of problematization in computer programming in C++, more specifically the recommendation to use repetitive instructions in similar or different contexts.

- Summary/Abstract:The research analyzes the integration of faith in the teaching of Romanian Language Communication in one of the schools affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, using as biblical foundation the four pillars: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration. The context of this research highlights the lack of Romanian-language materials to guide teachers in integrating biblical values. One of the aims of the study was to refine the planning of Bible-based Romanian Language Communication classes and to observe changes in teachers' pedagogical practice and their reflection in the students' lives. The findings emphasize the need for a deliberate and systematic effort on the part of teachers to model biblical values in the learning process, thereby strengthening students' relationships with God and with their peers.

- Summary/Abstract:This research explores how biblical values can be integrated into the teaching of Geography in a confessional school. The study focuses on the four biblical pillars: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Restoration. The main goal is to assess whether and how these pillars, integrated into lesson plans, can influence teaching practices, as well as the impact of faith-integrated lessons on students. The results show that such integration promotes holistic education. Each pillar brings a unique perspective: Creation emphasizes humanity's divine role, the Fall highlights the impact of sin, Redemption points to the restoration of the relationship with God, and Restoration underscores the divine purpose of education. Thus, if teachers integrate biblical values into teaching, they strengthen students' relationship with God and others. Geography thus becomes a tool to provide a Christian worldview.

- Summary/Abstract:Preschool children can practise their communication skills and emotions more freely way during their play and story times in kindergarten. The didactics of the field of Language and Communication in early childhood education, regardless of time and curriculum, has always proposed methodical guidelines and suggestions of educational content for the development of communication in children, and a large part of this content is represented by children's stories. "The moral of a story is more effective if it is discreet, not explicit. Good literature for children regards its receivers with respect and on equal footing" (Moraru, 2022, p. 15). The story, as a basis for receiving and practicing values through classic and current content from children's literature, subsequently also contributes to the development of children's expressive communication, motivating them to express in words what they see, hear and feel. In this sense, the „daily reading time” spent by the teachers with the pre-school children is an effective way of stimulating children's expressive communication development.

- Summary/Abstract:The achievement of religious education at the preschool level is primarily responsible of the kindergarten, but the family also has an important role in the study by preschoolers of the elements of religious education. Kindergarten and family have a decisive role in achieving religious education at the pre-school level, but the community is also responsible for the moral-religious formation of preschoolers. Together with parents and teachers, community representatives must shape the souls of children by conveying their faith in God. The moral-religious development of children is responsible for several institutions within the community, such as the church, town hall, police, etc., the church being the institution with a major role in this sense. The kindergarten interacts with the family, but also with representatives of important institutions in the community, such as the school principal, the priest, the family doctor, the mayor, the police officer. All these relationships established with these partners lead to the moral and religious development of the child. The community plays an important role in children's education, as it helps to transmit knowledge and attitudes that can clearly guide the life of every member of the community. In the implementation of religious education in kindergarten it is important to have collaboration between teachers and community representatives. In order to effectively carry out educational activities of a religious nature, it is important that the educator also invites community representatives to participate in such activities, so that together they can work on the moral-religious development of children. How much community representatives consider studying religious content at the preschool level to be very important is the question that led to a research that used a questionnaire as the main tool. The research identified the views of community representatives on the need to study religious education at the pre-primary level, the types of content that should be studied and the benefits of studying such religious content for children.

- Summary/Abstract:The concept of reading developed alongside the evolution of writing. Initially, reading was perceived as a means of obtaining vital information for survival in society. Over time, people transitioned from manuscripts to print, thanks to Gutenberg's invention, which made books more accessible. However, reading remained a characteristic of the elite. Over time, reading societies promoted mass reading, especially of historical and political materials. At the end of the 18th century, there was a reading revolution when people began to read in multiple directions and forms. In the 19th century, the fight against illiteracy contributed to the expansion of reading in Europe. Today, reading is encouraged through technology, making it more accessible. Studies in psychology, pedagogy, and linguistics have highlighted the importance of text comprehension and the development of reading skills. Text comprehension relies not only on linguistic knowledge but also on the reader's prior experiences. Thus, reading becomes an active way to learn and to add new meanings to existing knowledge.

- Summary/Abstract:The social, cultural and historical context in which we live significantly influences our behavior and the decisions we make. In this paper, we aim to provide an analysis of the philosophy of inclusion - of recognizing the other, which advocates for a society in which people, regardless of abilities, ethnic origin, religion, or any other personal characteristic, have the right to a dignified life. This involves creating equal conditions for all, eliminating barriers and promoting diversity as a value. On the other hand, cancel culture has emerged, a notion present in recent discourse, to represent a framework in which people with opinions and behaviors that do not fit into the group ideology can be widely ostracized. Such a perspective implies an approach to identity that presupposes the existence of a form of history negotiated by groups, transmitted through institutions so that the targeted individuals recognize themselves in it.
